11 July 2014
The Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G is a landmark for the manufacturer in the United States. The 6.1” LTE phablet is first device, which the company will offer in the country as a standalone OEM, via its own online...

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2014241 PPI = Mega fail in 2014You might want to try it before you poo-poo the "only" 720p. If you hold the phone at a normal 10-12" away from your eyes, I doubt you will see anything, now, on the other hand, if you have super 20/20 vision, and can hold it 4-5" from your head, and you zoom in, you might see it, but, I wear bifocals, so it's clear & sharp for my use.

Probably not on latest version of Android because Huawei spy-ware isn't compatible with latest version. Steer clear of any communist phones.

I saw this phone side by side of my Note 2 on CM11 4.4.3 and well its okay but the Note has better loudness with quality. The Huawei has louder headphones output and the Note has a way better camera and screen... Plus the pen...

Is this phone any good for a casual consumer, big screen, huge battery is really good and the Price tag is great for a phone of this size, don't really care about phone resolution, 720P is ok.

Got one Wednesday. Took it off the Charger about 10pm Wednesday night. Friday, home from work, used it A TON, mostly phone calls, email, web, STILL had 14 hours left! Didn't care for the stock UI, Nova Launcher for me. Screen for me is bright & clear, price can't be beat!

AnonD-246216, 12 Jul 2014No thanks. You can wait for a month by yourself. What? You are the one who want standby over real usage time, which is the only thing 1520 really excells at, my comment was only meant to emphasize how meaningless your evaluation of the battery life figures is.

So 1520 has display bigger than 6.1 inch? Hmm, i think we can disregard your posts as clueless. The 1520 is far behind on web browsing which is the most important number, more behind than the difference in battery size suggests, or do you want to enter a standby contest? Well, i take your challenge with a $15 Samsung E1200 with its 800mah battery good for a month of standby.

exe, 11 Jul 2014me likes the Emotion UI 2.0.and me think you havent tried it. Im serious, you REALLY have to test it before buying a Huawei, its a nightmare to use, they are complicating simple things and calling it "features" and nagging you to enable the horrible things.

I recommend everyone who want this kind of phone to go for Xperia T2 Ultra with its clean and nice UI, Huawei has totally lost its direction, its like theres no meaning in any of it, a complete mess.
