Dear GSMArena, while I appreciate the article being helpful as a guide, I'm a little disappointed with the exclusion of Sony Tablet Z3 Compact. It seems to be the best tablet around fully capable of replacing your mobile phone (if u didnt mind the size and using a headset!). Only drawback I see is the lack of flash and the below par camera but with excellent hardware and water and dust resistant with NFC and FM. I doubt if there even is any tablet that matches it on specifications. While the article might help me buy a steal on Black friday prices, I regret to say that it is not so useful if I wanted to buy the best one.

If you're into gaming I recommend Ipad air since all games runs smooth, and ios also have lots of exclusive games. And when you're into functionality or love to do multitasking go for the Galaxy note 10.1 or 12.2 not to mention they have also S-Pen that other tabs don't have.
PS: all tabs that I mention are on full size tablet category

I purchased Panasonic Eluga after seeing their newspaper ad. I am totally disappointed both on product and service response. Handset get highly heated up within two minutes and their area service guy one Mr arvind is worse than the product

Acer Iconia w4-820, W4-821, Dell venue 8 Pro and other windows 8 pro tabs are awesome.
I have the Acer Iconia W4-820. Impressive device. Turned it into a full fledged computer. The W4-821 includes 3G and is good for people on the move

Only ANDROID tablets that are worthy of buying atm are Samsungs Galaxy Tab S-line because of funcionality or Nvidia Shield because of fluidity. other than that the other tabs are trash tier.

Im not saying that Android tablets are just a little inferior to iPad but im saying Android is totally wasted and useless on a tablet. Go ahead and buy one and see for yourself that you will not be using it, in a year you will buy iPad.

Unless one wants a high end Windows 8.1 tablet the only question that counts is "which iPad should i buy?". Too many tablet buyers not using their Android tablets, and many buy iPad the second time and regret they didnt do in the first place (me included).
First time buyers, learn from other peoples mistakes and forget about Android tablets. Even if you like the Android you have in your phone you will not like it in a tablet, its really not the same thing.

Anonymous, 26 Aug 2014I believe that the majority of the readers already know whi... moreWell, that's exactly my point1 Having made my choice of OS already (I wouldn't consider anything else than full windows, you said you'd take android and nothing else), and I agree with you that the majority has done too, I'd like to see the review split into OS and not screen size categories so I could read a comparison of tablets that I'm interested in. You said you'd want andorid in any case - a comparison between same sized tablets with different OSes doesn't interest you then, does it? I'd read the page with x86 tablets and you'd read the andoid page, trying to see which tablet with your OS of choice suits you better.
Anyway, I'm not trying to start an argument over this. It was just an idea that seems to be logical IMO.

And i never trust tegra stuff. They drain battery faster then anyone. All those past tegra products indeed have good specs.. but suffers from bad battery backup.
Nvidia should just stick with making PC graphics card.. all their cards are monster energy draining beast.. nothing more. Efficiency and long battery life is required for tablet.. not a burning piece of iron.
