My z3 compact been around since 2015 and got no problems with it just make sure you dont let it sit on high heat for long periods of time or else the display would act up and the back will stick out due to heat melting the back glass adhesive.

Hi People.
My Z3 compact lost the quality photos. It was so bright AMD clear, now is blurred and worst than a camera of 3 mpx. I had make a factory reset its the same, i saved the photos in the sd card or internal, is the same. Can anyone help me please? :-(

sorry for my english.No doubt the phone is excellent value for money.
But, it was launched in 2014. Android N not coming. Also being old, repairs will be a problem. Will be very difficult to get parts depending on where you are. No fingerprint sensor, which is default on new devices.
My recommendation -> don't buy it now. Go for a new compact.

It's the best smartphone I've ever used. I've got an iPhone 6S,a xiomi redmi note 3(snapdragon version 650),an xperia z1compact,a htc one A9,an iPhone 4S and a LG G5.Among all of me phones my z3compact is the best. Who says it ain't waterproof ? Ergonomically speaking it's the bestest phone in my collection .

This is a great phone. It did all the way on Camino de Santiago with me during rain an sun in dust and mud. Pictures are great, the batery lasted long. No scratch nothing wrong so .... it's my first sony phone and I have only great experience with it.

Dear gsmarena, it's widely known that after Lollipop update, battery life on many devices ( including excellent Z3 Compact) has dropped significantly. I've clearly felt it on my Z3C. Why wouldn't you retest this and may be some other interesting in terms of battery life devices to provide readers with more accurate and practical numbers? It seems no resource around did that and information about battery life is badly outdated and based on KitKat version of Android.
