I don't understand why is so " disappointing" not having 4K video recording??!
99% of world population doesn't have UHD TV's at home!
Even best tablets out there doesn't come with such screens resolution.
anyway I understand the people wishe to have "more" but seriously....

So mediocre speakers, non-removable battery and probably expensive. Can't think of any reason why would anyone buy this. Boomsound is their only advantage and with this phone they probably aren't better than average mono speaker in many other phones

You maybe want to say next year's mid range. It has better specs than the M8 besides the aluminium body. Come on GSMArena.

Camera centric phone but no 4k seems silly omission. Good effort tho with different design at least.

sorry not HTC Fan anymore as HTC Sense is become senseless and tasteless. keep your speed for yourself. bye bye HTC. after using atleast a dozen of HTC products until Butterfly 1. sense 5? sense 6? what next? only vanila android? HTC is become old. taste of mobile phone is dying. we need a revolution.

It sits at the very end of mid-range spectrum and just steps in the high-end spectrum. Being 550$ it justifies what I just said, plus it's almost 500$ where I live, so it is kindof mid range for me.

I am ok and well setified with camera and design and the memory area but the main problem.... Is its bettry area.. I read somewhere that the bettry drainz quickly and once the bettry is done then its even not replaceable... Thats what really i wana know as soon as you are done with the testing... Thank you gsmarena....

This is exactly a desire that i want..
Fantastic beauty..great in every aspects..i dont call it mid-range cus its better than many flagships of any brands.
But in the word this is best phone in mid-range with no dubte..

Finally! It's about time they wrote this review, had been waiting since forever. Though I was disappointed with their writing in the camera portion, they should have given a more detailed explanation of the cameras and their quality esp the front facing camera. Still a pretty great review.
Now I'd appreciate if they wrote a review on Desire 820.
