Renns, 07 Jan 2015Samsung finally managed to come up with a reasonable design... moreI don't understand your complain about the price of galaxy A5 or any phone in the A series. The prices seem very much reasonable for the quality of these phones. At least, they are not "out of this world".

Samsung finally managed to come up with a reasonable design. Yet, the pricing is out of this world.
For the huge amount of 400 bucks I'd rather buy an only-8-months-old Xperia Z2 for example, which beats the sh*t out of this device in every aspect. In fact, it costs 370 in my country atm.
It's so stupid that initial pricing is always completely out of proportion; ofcourse if you wait a couple of months this device may sell under 300. Still launch prices are NEVER value for money. I could consider this a buy when it's priced around 250 euros tops.

Any one remember true transparent phone? Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness?
because compared to this, pureness work, and here we have peace of glass glued to fancy block of metal/plastic...

€400 for the A5? :D It must be the biggest joke of CES2015. The Zenfone 2 is over half the price and twice the specs and looks (and casing material), so, go figure. Samsung must be preparing themselves for a similar quarter as their last one.
