Discontinued too soon. :(
I love this tablet, it's actually the first one I ever bought. I hope that Asus makes another one just like it.

I am saddened to see that GSMarena fails to mention Nvidia SHIELD Tab 2014 in any of the comparisons . That tab is easily available in US or Europe and definitely deserves a review of its own.

Sadly, it seems that it's what's turning to be the norm. I prefer 7" tablets :(

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2015Wow people are still using 7 inch tablets? That's something... moreThat absolutely should NOT be the norm!
I own an iPad mini Retina, my sister has LG gPad 8.9 and my girlfriend uses Lenovo Yoga2 8inch and...and 2 weeks ago I have bought this Asus. Why? Because non of those other devices was good enough as a very portable solution for PDF reading, Facebook and fast web browser. I should also mention that my phone is Note4 which is superb for note taking, but is too small for proper reading.

Which firmware do you running on test?
I have issues with auto-rotate after OTA firmware update (v.11.8.3.31).

I also prefer 7" tablets. Its just a workable size for a light weight/on-the-go tablet

Wow people are still using 7 inch tablets? That's something I did not expect, even Google has abandoned this size. Too big for a phone, way too small for a tablet (7.9-8 inch should be the minimum).

Exactly,Asus naming convention is confusing in the zenfone series too.One might think zenfone 2 which is yet to be released,as an old model or with the lowest specs compared to zenfone 4,5,6,7 etc.
