Note 4 quadhd sd805, gflex2 sd810 fullhd...benchmark. What if note 4 runs only fullhd? Qualcomm snapdragon 810 = total disasters, failure of the year.

sc, 19 Feb 2015What a shame, I wanted this phone so bad, but that's terrib... more"poor performance" its the strongest chip out there - sure, its not that much better than the 805 but it is better so - if it is poor, all phones available offer a poor perfoemance...

Where is all that camera prowess that was anounced with the sd810? 4k video hw encoding? 1080@120fps?

Regarding the Snapdragon 810 benchmark results: Has anyone tried to run all those benchmarks on an SM-N910C, the Galaxy Note 4 version based on the Exynos 5433? All except the GPU results are impressively better, and keep in mind that the performance drop is not noticable after repeated tests. Even though 64-bit is not enabled even on Android Lollipop, the SM-N910c does not have any of the heating problems the SNapdragon 810 has and performs even better

The cpu unit simply failed. Very dissapointing. There is no way to extend the battery life to more 50% with software optimization. The octacore overheats and is not powersaving. All the rumors where right about it. Its a hardware problem and samsung will stamp it into the dust with its new cpu. Apple know why they let samsung produce their new a8 14nm chip at Samsung. Qualcomm was ahead last two years with their quadcore chips. But lost the race With octacore. Lg did wrong to be the first with this chip. Very dissapionting.

It seems that sd810 has overheating issue,,
and battery efficiency seems horrible
Exynos 7 14nm much mature than this
don't forget that qualcomm is newbie in big.little licensor

Lg managed to make a phone with "flex" in the name that is not flexible...wow.Also i expect the self healing coating to rub off the back due to usage therefore making it a useless feature after a few months. Also with the so called software improvements the chipset will heat even more losing battery life which is not stellar by any means already perhaps losing performance too needing more time to cool off.Last thing i would like to mention is that having a curved phone in your front pocket which is unable to flex will probably bend it in the wrong way(let's not forget this has a 5.5 inch display not something that will sit vertically in the pocket) cause some serious damage to the phone(looking at you "self healing coating").

Stop whining about the battery life! 62h is more than enough for a full day of heavy usage. The 810's overheating kills the battery obviously. Same happened to Nexus 4 back in the day and even though the battery was 44h which means almost one day of not so heavy usage I was quite happy with the phone. Nobody forces you to buy it, so just remain silent and buy the next Galaxy, Lumia or iPhone and be the same.
