hmm, so far nothing impresive, exynos 7420 dissapoints, same bench results as 810, qhd screen absolutely nonsense, i bearly can read on 1080p s4 screen from distance, qhd is completely a killer, forget about gaming performance and battery life, so far htc one 9 is more apealing, 1080p screen for better gpu, battery performance, better design, better sound, really dissapoints samsung. I dont think s6 will be successful kind off in same league like s5 which i think is better deal than s6 at launch, edge look cool, but doesnt worth the price, better take flex2

Seems Samsung have ditched the waterproofing feature, that could be a miss and with an S5 owner its a step backwards. Sony lap this up because you are the master of waterproofing!!

All this and that about the s6 and know one has one in the hand to really judge smh. I love the design and you will never find every one liking a design. We all have different taste. The only pain I have is no sd card aww. Plus, like it or not the samsung s6 edge looks way better than any iPhone. I was gonna go for iPhone but sammy in the lead for now. With iPhone I was born in jail and that's a fact no wonder jail break. With samsung i was born free. If it's a decision of software at the end of the day, well I will say android all day.

I can't stand this! Glass back? Non-removable battery? No memory expansion? No water resistance?

Sounds a lot like Samsung listened to too many fans of Sony, Apple and HTC. I wouldn't be surprised if they'll lose a lot of customers like me who rather have a thicker (would it kill to just as a millimeter or two?!) to accommodate features why I buy Samsung, than image of "premium"? Glass back? Sheesh!

If they do this to the Note 5, I'll show my displeasure by adding to their poor sales.p

Hmm.. Samsung is dropping MicroSD support.
The writing might be on the wall for removable storage in phones :(

People who haven't used a quad HD screen can never appreciate the difference it makes..I have a LG G3 and I know the difference..no SD card and removable battery is the result of every one crying quality..so now u get the quality build so why cry now? Hope the battery lasts as claimed by Samsung..wireless charging another feature only people who use it can appreciate..others are just isheep..hope the gorilla glass 4 can handle the drops and the battery lasts..rest all seems great to me..and I buy my phones with thought and personal preference..previous phones iPhone 4, s3,xperia z1,htc one m7,note 3,xperia z2 and now lg G3..soon please dont cry over things which have already existed over the past..you get them all together and upgraded to what is available today in technology..

The Samsung galaxy s6 looks great and the nonremoveable battery isnt a deal breaker, but the unexpanadable memory could be though.
The thing is Samsung gave us the removeable battery, expandable memory and even an IP67 certified protection in its previous model(galaxy s5), but its sale wasnt impressive because people hated its plastic covering.
Now Samsung has given us a premium-feeling smartphone(obviously with its disadvantages), yet people still complain like they didnt knw the down sides.
Well, in the end, its not possible to impress everybody no matter how hard you try.

a beautiful phone but it seems like they have taken an iphone 6 design and placed the xperia z3 materials....

and why dont they have made it waterproof??

placing a QHDscreen would only drain the battery it doesnt have any practical use and with 2600mah and octacore... well bye bye battery

Who started this trolling about apps not using all cores?
Is it some negative false marketing introunced by haters or Apple?

They don't have a clue about the falacy they are saying.

Yes, apps and games DO use all cores, the OS use them too, and everything else does.

Every new thread is handled by a new free core, and more demanding games and apps generates more threads, not speaking about multitasking and multiple OS threads...
high end engines like unity and unreal are already optimized for that, and pratically all new apps are too.

Ppl keep saying apps can't use all those threads because they aren't optimized for it, don't know a clue what they're talking about.

I am a developer, and currently my job is pretty much high level because we do use Unity. We also have to use both iOS and Android to test the games.

I must say the heavier games runs much better on the octacore note4 than on the iPhone6 even it having a marginally weaker gpu and freaking 270% more pixels to run.

I should add that I have been using Samsung phones exclusively since 2003 and I would be really really disappointed if the Note 5 does not come with a microSD slot and a removable battery (I also do not need a metal rim that messes with the antenna signal).

Samsung get your stuff together !
They messed up real bad with not integrating a microSD port and putting a non-removal battery in their flagship !
Samsung is turning into Apple, what a pity !

I hope the Note 5 will have a microSD and a removable battery, both are essential features for anyone who uses their phones seriously !
