While I'm just about to praise the S6 with its fresh design, here comes the disappointment for not having the MicroSD Card Slot, the Removable Battery, and the Water-proofing capability anymore.
Man, it's not like achieving the premium feel requires losing 3 key features at the same time.
A lot of examples out there prove that metal frames (or unibody) and 2-sided of glasses can still provide the MicroSD Card Slot and Water-proofing. While having a Removable Battery is unlikely, it'd have been a huge breakthrough for Samsung if they managed to do it on S6.

They used a soft aluminium alloy that scratches like mad...
google it up
Cheap materials used to make it look premium and worth a hefty pricetag
Remains to be seen what is on these devices, but doubt it is better
Its samsung after all

Hope you understand this simple logic." u knw wat..i just laughed out loud after reading this dumb comment. Who in this world said that thing...i said the use of premium materials is a copy + by the design thing, i meant the rounded edges and speaker grill n all are iphone like...u should read the comment first, understand it and then comment.

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2015Well considering we were specifically talking about cameras... moreEmmm, benchmarks not so impressive, especially the graphic ones...
Front is good, the back with that pinup camera is hideous
Same setup camera as note4, OIS didnt help much on video stabilisation, photo is good though
Still a mono speaker forcing loud instead of quality
So much criticized glass back by samsung fans...
No SD, no radio, no removable battery,
Batterylife...will reserve judgement, but with that screen, will be a dissapointment as to other flagships I logically conclude....
Enormeus price tag, especially over 32gb ones
So
It will not sell more than s5 did...

Not bad, being an S5 user there are a few things I would miss (Waterproof, removable battery, SD card), will skip the S6. Plus was not so impressed with Lolipop on S5, many useful features were dropped (Blocking mode, new charging notifications are obtrusive especially at night times etc... The little things that you don't realise what makes a great useful device, these were left out, I appreciate them now!). For me the top pick is the Note 4 on Kit Kat (Lolipop needs finishing, its not far off, but does need work)

Good job Samsung. Was never a fan of Samsung but the s6 edge is excellent. Now only hoping the phone performs as they claimed in performance as well as battery life.
Gsmarena, waiting for a full review.

darkraver, 01 Mar 2015Every flagships performance is good...
Why someone should ... moreWell considering we were specifically talking about cameras...I was referring to the camera.
And it's true. If you believe a little camera bump will make worse jokes than band aid you're not thinking very well.
But since you want to bring up performance this is a beast and you will notice.
Trying to say things like that don't matter usually means you like something else and this beats it.

AnonD-366812, 03 Mar 2015Exactly this. I have a spare battery, used it twice, I mea... moreIf it completely satisfies you that is wonderful.
However, it was not really great of them to do. And just because you don't care about those features does not make them important to many.
And yes. not everyone uses removable battery, but if you have you realized it's not something you always need, but as soon as you need it is when you realize how handy it is.
And many many many people need lots of storage and sd cards. It's swappable and so easy. Plus guarantees a nice little compact physical back up.
Now many can forgive the non removable battery. The device looks very nice....Though I really wish they had gone for the Note 4's frame.
It will have great battery life and charge super fast. However they could have at least kept the 2,800mah or gone 3,000mah and really impressed us with battery. And they probably would have only needed a 0.2-0.4mm more.
But the SD slot is a killer for most.

AnonD-368547, 03 Mar 2015I really cant understand whats the problem in having a desi... moreProblem is this shows iphone copied them. This along with the iphone 6 looks like a Note 1. The shape, form, and design. Even rounded frame. However! Yes, the speaker grill and antenna strips and details along the bottom there do look like iphones.
They will always be criticized is the issue.
Whether they use plastic, metal, glass, whatever.
And it will always be claimed that they copied the iphone even though the iphone is copying them and everyone else.

gotta be honest, i think they are pretty ugly, the horrible sheen is off putting and no matter how you look at it, it's very iPhone-esque which in my opinion makes it grotesque. no removable battery, no expandable storage... way to go sammy.. i'm glad i got the note 4 while i did, hopefully they don't continue the sad fad with the next note series, or this will be one (formerly) loyal customer, who now looks elsewhere.
