Seems like the Note 4 retains the lead. The S5 and S6 trade blows. Will wait for more samples for deeper comparison!

The result is better than i expected. People may think the sharpness difference is because of software sharpening but don't forget that wider aperture means softer images. Even in the most expensive DSLR lenses u need to adjust your lens to a smaller aperture size than f/1.9 to have more sharp images, but unlike DSLR Lenses, cell phones have constant apertures. f/1,9 is a really huge aperture, more wider than i expect from a cell phone. Samsung did a great job with S6... I was expecting it will be a bit more softer but a better low light performance. Anyway to be honest i will prefer a smaller aperture with sharper images. Unless i don't need a bokeh effect, larger aperture only means better performance in low light, but it comes with a disadvantage in good lightning. I was waiting for this test result, thanks to GSMARENA. Today i certainly decided to buy a Note4, now cheaper than S6, with Spen and with SD card option, it makes more sense to me. The only thing I doubt about is the huge size.

AnonD-183110, 19 Mar 2015Yes it's my opinion. But samsung phones with aluminum bodie... morePerhaps it had due to use the use of plastic. Anyway moving on indeed nokia phones do have very good camera's, but what I don't understand is why would people bash on product, just because they like another brand like nokia.

The S6 was much better in low light but significantly worse than the Note 4 in daylight due to it's software processing

AnonD-359663, 19 Mar 2015In your opinion. just because some reviews don't like the d... moreYes it's my opinion. But samsung phones with aluminum bodies are like Samsung's response to customers disappointment with S4/S5 designs.

AnonD-359663, 19 Mar 2015Really so you're fanboy trolling and bashing samsung, note ... moreSure it has, man, sure it has :D. 3 times smaller sensor means less field of view, less light and definetily less quality. Daylight photography is very easy even for the phones like galaxy s2, but when its slightly darker, the difference between nokia and the others is just out of this world. Note 4 had been proven to have the best mobile camera excluding all the nokia phones.
And mate, please don't get me wrong. The note 4/note 3 are the phones near to perfection. Just not the camera, no way. btw I also own note 3.

this is not a real deal gsmarena and i bet you guys know it
s6 has wider field of view, meaning in order to make this blind test happen, s6 didn't get 100% crop but rather 115%
this is really low of you gsm

Sorry to say, but the margins are so small, its almost negligible.
If you're choosing one of of these 3 based on these close samples, you're going paranoid with phone cameras...
With such small differences, how can we announce a winner and loser??

I think the S5 took the best pics and that's being legit. They just PPP more to me especially the tree shot. Either eay I love iPhone 6 Plus camera best for speed and ease to use. As in literally take it out and snap- and you get 8/10 without even trying. You can get 10/10 with Samsung phones but it takes so many goes, perfect lighting etc- it's just a phone. Not a professional camera so for me I want that speed and ease. S5 takes some beautiful slow shutter photos though. Must be very still to get them right.

Note 4 has sharper image and s6 has more realistic image... In s6, you can use advanced mode and change your image... Make it more sharp if you want sharp images... So, s6 will be better I think...
