They make decent sensors f... moreCompared the shots from g4 with z3+ preview shots thoroughly....in some photo areas g4 sucks with loss of detail and dynamic range, in some z3+ with loss of detail and dynamic range....overall equal superb quality photos.
Dont rant without substance...
Would be nice of them to do night shots in final review

How on Earth, as a 'proud' Sony developer/engineer/project manager, do you look at photo samples of these 20MP sensors, and say "I'm very happy with the output, let's stick this in our flagship phones", if not all of them? It boggles the mind... I give the lens a thumb up for not showing any purple fringing around high contrast lines, other than that...wake up Sony.

I don't know what Sony is doing. They make decent sensors for their pocket and SLR cameras and then go stick cr@p in their phones. Comparing the Z3 and Z3+, results are exactly the same (which was expected) and then compared it to the G4. My word, the level of detail in the G4 is astounding, less noise and better dynamic range. Very keen to see what the RAW output will look like when tinkered with in Photoshop.

I own a Z1 and I do not see the point in upgrading. Sony are doing hardly anything, 3 models later I should be wanting to upgrade! But no.

truth hurts, yes, Sony with 20 nm SoC still has more batery life than sammy with 14 nm :p

S6active may have less memory, but other specs like cam quality, screen, battery,... got everything fans are crazy for.

I dont mind FullHD instead of QHD, but the grid of dots is puzzling. It stands out a lot in the photos. Do you notice it in real life?

Stop saying that if the screens are non-QHD or 1440p is a bad thing. 1080p should be max for screens below 5.5 inch.
It's ok to develop them, but why should i pay for that resolution when i don't need it. and like others said drains battery and affects performance for nothing.
