Leo, 30 Jul 2015is anyone waiting for the Nexus 5 2015 (LG)??? ;-)Nexus 5 is my latest hope. They ruined everything with this phone. I've contacted Google and gave them suggestions on the phone should look like. I'm a product designer and I can tell if a phone will fail or not

puremind, 29 Jul 2015That's the point, they kill it because of price and combini... moreYou really owned it.. And i do agree at ur points and in a view they r valid too.. But u gotta accept that now a days phones and devices are getting too fragile and prone to get sick i mean ( like some keys dont function/ motherboards gets fried/ screen display malfuntion ) companies should also focus on built quality and by that i mean the ' quality ' . this phone is really a flagship killer my dad owns one..but many of other buyers got really disastisfied with what their device finally ended up with! ( one plus one buyers )

OnePlus broke every dream i have to se a more beautiful phone of 2015...this phone now with the camera and led flash in almost middle of the phone just look's ugly...the front home button remember me of the shameshit phones, terribel decission to do that! Put a fingerprint scanner for what? only fanboy's use that...i think OnePlus play better than that, this phone is for REAL PEOPLE, not for fanboy's...serrious?!

i will keep my G3 until OnePlus launch a decent, and beautiful phone, more likely the first one!

You heavily ventured into a fanboy defense rather than a logical response

I'm wondering if the OP2 will have T-Mobile's band 12? That's a big deal for me, if it has that band it will be a phone to consider..

So far though these are the things that i don't like about the OP2: No oleophobic coating on the display, no NFC (believe it or not some of use it on a regular basis), awkward camera placement (maybe it's just me), 810 chip (paranoid about heating issues), no micro SD card expansion, no quick charge, no wireless charging, and last the low brightness of the display..

I was eagerly awaiting the OP2 but now that all the specs and design have finally been revealed i'm disappointed. The new Motorola phones look interesting! and all for around the same price point as this. I guess i'll wait and see to make my decision.

David, 29 Jul 2015This phone looks like crap.lol agree.
they should redesign the fingerprint sensor. to me, this just a lazy job. thy can make that fingerprint look invisible. straight flat with screen, not so obvious like this one.

slaia, 28 Jul 2015IMO gsmarena is wrong in saying "For that kind of mone... moreThat's the point, they kill it because of price and combining the best of each flagship:
                      - Fingerprint sensor implementation of M9+ and IP6+
                      - Camera quality of G4 and S6
                      - Body and customizable style of Motorola
                      - Display quality of Z3 / S6
                      - Performance on par with the S6
                      - Small bezels of Meizu, Huawei, Moto X Style and Xiaomi

And all with a larger battery.

All other smartphones have 1 or more weaknesses (e.g. Apple IP6+ has ridiculously large bezels and subpar camera for 2015 standards). Some have no fingerprint sensors or you have to first turn on the screen to use it. Some compromise on processor (Motorola, LG), or battery life because of too ambitious ambitious display resolution or thinness craze.

Its only real weakness is lack of quick charge (NFC/Android pay won't be used for payments until 2017 and Wireless Charging would be unnecessary if it had quick charging).

And then on top of that, there is the ridiculously low price. The price is the last drop that kills it...

Some sources mention charing time ot be 2h10 min while others mention 3h10 min. It may be that this changes based on future chargers. I am curious to try this out. Either way, if it lives up to expectations in terms of battery, this won't be an issue. If I can charge 1 hour of screen in 30 min for emergency situations, that would be fine for me.

Boo, 29 Jul 2015basically another mi note pro duplication in different body.LOL
This is an absurd comment. The mi Note Pro is in a different category has no fingerprint sensor, poorer camera, lower contrast display and poorer battery performance (smaller battery+larger, higher resolution display) and has poor LTE band support (hardly usable outside of China).

If you only look at CPU, then most 2015 flagship phones are gonna be the same in another body...But that's reductive and oversimplifying.

The phone goes up to 600 nits. This is the brighest of any phone in the market right now for regular web browsing (the S6 can have higher pick-brightness but only for content that has a low APL, i.e. on small white surfaces). There must be an issue with this unit, as other hands on reviews have mentioned how bright the screen is (and the 1,500 contrast / deep blacks confirm that).

The front looks amazing (black on black). The rear can be customized with Style Swaps (5 different designs) so there will be some for every taste. :-)

I have the Oneplus one and for the first few months I was happy until i noticed software issues, the after sales/service is shocking, wait for an update I was continually advised - this took months. The phone crashes a LOT, screen issues (far too sensitive) I would be typing a msg and it would revert back to the homescreen mid message (annoying). screen is hard to see outside even on the brightest setting (believe me - its difficult to even unlock the phone). More often than like is when the whole phone freezes and I have a brick in my hands until the power button decides to work. I will wait until this company has truly established itself before I buy another phone from them.
The specs are amazing, the price is unbeatable but i'd rather pay more and be secure in the knowledge I would be getting a decent aftersales service.
This is my honest opinion, I have owned it for nearly a year and won't be rushing to get the successor.

Oneplus could have made one of the SIM slots dual usage since most buyers may only use one SIM card. SIM 1 or 2 could have doubled as a storage expansion slot as well.
