1)
Why make 2 different phones with same specs like NOTE 4 and S6 EDGE + ??????
.
2)
S6 Edge + shud have note s-pen features that could be done with getting extra s-pen.
.
3)
S-6 Edge+ screen size should have been 5.5 inch for more suitable size .
.

I'm really disappointed with removing some features of the note series from the note5 , Like removing the SD card slot and reducing battery capacity which would be better to be 4100 Mah as rumored before..
I think everybody agrees that the note5 sales won't be as good as note4 and note3 sales especially with the upcoming high end smartphones from Apple and Sony

I'm a Samsung user. I lament Samsungs new philosophy in 2015 of more "show" less "features" and thus be more like iPhone. Comm'on you even call the Note5 edge "S6+" an Apple name. Samsung faithfuls like their phones cause they have more substance than IPhones, keep it that way. Reinstate micro SD memory, replacable battery & S pen in "Note5 edge"

i think it's useless for Samsung to completely loose control what they are doing now. Galaxy S series and Note Series are always better. Now they come with S6 edge +. What is the purpose of this device?. No idea. Agree to their new design languages but launching phones every 4 months will be problem to users. And i am completely disappointed Samsung does not understand why consumers like us buy their devices before. Better battery and Micro SD support.

Disappointing. Was waiting for the Note 5 but i'd keep my Note 3.

I have had Samsung's for 5 years but this is really disappointing. Why on earth would you remove the SD card and then limit the internal storage to 64GB?? I have drop box and sugarsync but no providers (in Australia) offer unlimited downloads or even 100% coverage.

Likewise, why would you get rid of the removable battery then make the internal battery smaller?

If seems like it is all to make a device more like the iPhone. I am pretty sure sales will be poor like the S6 is.

In the mean time, I will stick with my Note 4 and hope the Note 6 has a better battery and more storage/SD card.

I give up!! No more Samsung Note series. I have Note 4 and if Samsung keeps it this way, then this (Note 4) is the last Note (or Samsung flagship) i would own. Thinking of switching to Sony once they launch something not having Snapdragon 810 SoC.

Anonymous, 13 Aug 2015Please Samsung, stop using Super Amoled; the technology is ... moreSuper Amoled is outdated ? It seems you know nothing about display technologies.

I agree. What is annoying is the fact that the phone could have become my next phone if it didn't have the follow annoying features:
                        - Average battery. Newer phones now carry 3,600 to 6,000 mAh batteries. 3,000 ist just frustrating.
                        - Touch Wizz still a slow OS customization
                        - Knox und warranty loss if you change TouchWiz for something else

Without Knox I would have been able to install CyanogenMod. As it stands I can only install HTC's Blinkfeed launcher.

The S6+ Edge? I don't understand this device. It is uncomfortable to hold and you lose 10% of the screen when watching films where the image is distorted. Sure if you're a kind looking to impress friends as school, maybe you want that look, but it would be nothing but an annoyance to me.

I dont want to sound pessimistic but the price you will pay fror note 5 which would be around 200-300 euros more the gs6 is just a screen size by 0.5-0.6. Now when i think about it gs6 sounds like a much better deal if they cut down the price.

Surely you must not have bought the s6 since it' got the same treatment first hand

Another disappointment from samsung. What happened to innovation? What happened to the philosophy of adding new features every year? This year, they are removing features and instead, samsung is investing their money into developping a nicer looking phone to cater the iphone crowd, which won't jumpship anyway. Lg and htc could have dealt a major blow to samsung in the high end, and surely, they missed their chance with one and g4. As a tech guy, i am not excited at all or dont feel any enthusiastism from others around the note5 and edge plus announcement.

First of all, no bitten apple will beat Samsung as US is only 300 milion people while the world (Samsung lovers) are 8 billion. I own a Note3 and i`m very happy with it, but this time i think i`m gonna go with S6 Edge + as it`s the same screen size and looking much better, and i`m not crazy about a stylus. I also own a 64gigs USB stick which has both microUSB and normal USB on it, so i can quicly plug it into phone, than laptop. So i don`t care if it has SD inside, i always have that USB on my key chain. The battery of my old Note 3 is in the best state, so i don`t think the new one could be worst, so no need to be changeable. The real problem of Samsung is another : they do make them too good, so they never broke, even if you are a Samsung lover you don`t really need to buy another phone...you need first to find a friend to make yours as a gift to him ...
