Samsung Galaxy Note5 review: The 5blet

21 August, 2015
As the fourth successor of the product that defined what a phablet should be, Samsung Galaxy Note5 is arguably the most radical release in the product family to date. The newcomer marks a noteworthy departure (no pun intended) from all of its predecessors in terms of both design and available hardware features...

I have a note 3 and just recently bought a moto e because it was only 100 U.S.D. Although i love my note 3, I am really impressed and really like the moto e. The fluidity anf snappiness of it is amazing. Was a bit disappointed with the Note 5 as I wanted it to be my next upgrade. But I think I'd be fine with the Moto e and note 3 for a while now.

Sam9teen , 22 Aug 2015I share your pain buddy, even i didn't liked note 5 but wha... moreWhat we gonna do??
Loads of other phablets out there right now with more real estate & less brittle hardware.
Might have to learn to live without the stylus. Gutted.
End of a Series - end of an era - sadly

Sam9teen , 22 Aug 2015I share your pain buddy, even i didn't liked note 5 but wha... moreI currently use a Note 4 (have owned all the Note series if phones) which performs excellently, the camera, video and call quality. Here is where I'm stumped, I have a 128gb SD card that is 60% full. The S-pen and my huge S-note folders is the only reason anchoring me to Samsung.
If at this point I can get a note taker and stylus to work with even iPhone or other OEM I'll leave the Samsung ecosystem. Not even sure if they'll offer it in my market! Now that's another thing to worry about. What happens if they offer it to my country now and latter say "you guys over there are no longer worthy of our products"...really! Who does that?

I'm a bit lost for words really as I thought the earlier S6 edge performance wise out performed the note 5 and S6 edge in some of these tests? Samsung have trashed the whole point of the Note series! Replaceable battery and cheap memory upgrades and POWER, I can understand Samsung replacing plastic for quality metal parts to give the phone a much more better appeal to users. But to remove replaceable batteries and to SD cards and not even give the phone water proofing what's the logic behind that ??? By making your phones like crapple you have just pushed the niche you carved into the market over to LG and other android phones! Whoever your marketing/ retail sales team is ........you need to fire them! If Samsung survives this marketing error! I mean not even releasing the phone in Europe till next year??? Note 5 no thanks especially as it will be 6 months old .................

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2015note 4 is a trash. Better camera in the market lolI can pretty much say that you are 100% wrong here. 99% of everyone here supports me in saying that the Note 4 is still one of the best phones from Samsung and one of the best phones on the market today.

There's no lag in long term, I'm using my Note 3 for almost 9 months now, love the phone to core. So cut your nonsense.
