Samsung Galaxy Note5 review: The 5blet

21 August, 2015
As the fourth successor of the product that defined what a phablet should be, Samsung Galaxy Note5 is arguably the most radical release in the product family to date. The newcomer marks a noteworthy departure (no pun intended) from all of its predecessors in terms of both design and available hardware features...

I'm an avid samsung user have every s model and note model samsung has really fell off on this s6 and note 5 disign first off no expandable sd slot and built in battery wow. I feel like I'm buying an I-phone ..... sd slots and removable battery is what separates the androids from apple I feel this is a huge draw back I will continue using my note 4 and s5 as long as possible cuz that have fell off with the s6 and note 5 disign ... as a super user rooted I'm disappointed

Note 4
rooted custom rom
128 gig sd
8500mah zero lemon battery

S5
rooted custom rom
128gig sd card
8500mah zero lemon battery

It might be true that iPhone does not have An IR blaster, micro SD card or removable battery and still making good sales. But I promise you that iPhone would triple it's sales if it should have an IR,micro SD card and a removable battery.
Have forgotten how iPhone doubled it's sale when they increased the size of the iPhone 6?

I'm sorry to disappoint you guys, but beside a few nerds nobody cares about micro sd, user replaceable battery and IR (especially IR). iPhone never had those features and it is still the best selling phone of all times by a huge margin.

I'd take the HTC One M9 over this one anyday:

          - IR blaster
          - No S-Pen to ruin your phone if reversed by mistake
          - FM radio
          - better build (its back won't break...)
          - same speed on day to day use...

          and so much more!

Only problem is the mediocre camera, but hey, I got a real camera for my real photography. The phone camera is just for social snapping.

              No micro SD Slot
              No User Replaceable Battery
              Glass Back: Means Easily Shattered
S-Pen Issue: One Way Only (Or else Accidents Happen), which is contradictory to the Traffic Rules that say One way causes Accidents.
Fragile Body: Hairline Cracks start to appear within 3-4 months.
Highly Priced: 64GB Version at INR 59,999
Less Capacity Battery on a Multi-tasking Phone.. Should have been at least 4500mAh
S-Pen Re-designed Menu Layout is Worst.

My Vote will Go for Samsung Galaxy Note 4

micro SD Slot up to 128GB
              User Replaceable Battery
              Metal Rim: Means Sturdy
S Pen: Can be put either way around, no damage to internal circuitry
Low Impact Body: Option to change Back Panel, Unbreakable Plastic.
Moderately Priced: 32GB Version at INR 40,999
Optimum Capacity Battery on a Multi-tasking Phone.. Should have been at least 3500mAh
              S-Pen Menu Layout is OK.

Samsung tries to pull this strategy. Remember iphone 4 with metal sides and glass screen on front and back? Same thing. I think next iteration of note would be full aluminum next year.just like what apple did with iphone6. And then they will put back the sd card expansion and ir blaster with new processor and camera just to force the consumers to buy the newer note 6. Tricky and clever samsung!

heryts, 27 Aug 2015There is power bank dude So carry around something as big or bigger than the phone itself, and heavier, a power bank is not an alternative to a small replaceable battery that gives you a fully charged phone in less than one minute.
