Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ review: Starborn

28 August, 2015
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, as its name suggests, is the bigger and flashier sibling of the SM-G925 smartphone that dazzled the world with its dual-curve display a few months ago. The newcomer is aimed at users who want a premium phablet, but don’t covet the S Pen of the Samsung Galaxy Note5 that debuted alongside it.

The pen works with a special sensor later behind the Super AMOLED screen. That sensor is not present in the S6 Edge Plus. It's impossible for the S Pen to work with it. You do not think the S Pen like a cheap rubber nosed $1 stylus - that works with any capacitive only screened device.

Do your research. Galaxy Notes have been around since 2011.

And again a Samsung review about the super Sony imx240 sensor. Than.you buy your phone, you can make super fotos and after the phone has to e repaired in the official Samsung support center you find the photos not as good anymore. Fokus problems, grey all over the picture in low light and flickering in the screen plus more noise in the photos. What has happened? They changed the Sony unit with a Samsung one and since than the photos are not more than average. When you Google this problem you fill find out that there are a couple of Samsung Galaxy models mit bad Samsung sensors but in every single test you will read about the good Sony unit. This has to be mentioned and I feel angry about it .... Has to send it in until they change the sensor back, really disappointed about this customer "support"

Hmm, so basically almost same as Note 5, except noticeable poorer stereo crosstalk, and the lack of S Pen and thus meaning lack of any creativity. Still the best non-Note device on the market.
