I'm already the proud owner of a steel/sapphire Apple Watch, but this new Samsung looks like a worthy contender. Since the S6 phones, Samsung's design department have been really going for it. Only caveat with the Gear S2 is apps on Tizen. Maybe the one to watch (no pun intended!)

Comparing all those perfectly crafted bands, general design, force touch screen and soooo on, sooo on of the Apple Watch with this smartwatch is like comparing Tag Heuer (Apple Watch) with G-Shock (Gear S2).... 2 different worlds.... Apple Watch is a design statement and jewelery where Gear S2 is still geeky looking accessory, even Classic version... Grow Up!

Unless I have the option to attach a compatible silver metal strap to the silver watch, I'm not buying it.
The silicon straps looks awkward to me and the classic one looks like cheapo Chinese watches.

Rotating bezel is better idea than Apples crown...

IMO, S2 Classic is the best looking smartwatch as of this date. The UI with the rotating bezel concept is simple, yet brilliant. Will eagerly wait to see performance and battery results.
