LG KG920 review: 5 megapixel exotic

25 February 2007
Last year we stood and watch megapixels grows and grow, and just when we thought that the cameraphone battle would continue in another direction – additional features such as auto-focus, better camcorder capabilities, etc. we saw a GSM mobile phone with a 5 megapixel camera. Well, here it is, the LG KG920 finally arrived at our test site and we grabbed it with hands itching to go out and shoot something… Shoot with the camera, that is.

      DONT BUY THIS PATHETIC PHONE.
      1) it does not work in vista and there are no drivers or firmware updates for it.
      2) Support persons are completely useless
      3) Phone wont let u use its internal memory. Only the external memory.
      4) Still a long way to go for LG to make a really usable and user friendly phone.

The LG KG920 scores 99% from me. The 1% missing is the constant pickup of 3g&Hsdpa signal (3g & Hsdpa enabled)backlight that drains the battery in half a day and not even talking on the phone. If there is anyone that can assist me with this - please do

This phone will not do well on the australian market...it's too big and bulky and offers little to no network features to support the growing population....

I am not impressed at all with this phone, besides the good 5MP camera and quality QVGA at 30fps it has nothing going for it.

It has a slow, sluggish and dated UI,no EDGE or 3G,only 8mb internal memory, only USB mass storage at USB 1.1 speeds,no radio, way too heavy, weird design, doubt whether the phone could handle 2gb miniSD cards, rubbish web broswer, screen is too small at 2",music player cannot be minimised and does not support ID3 tags,no infrared, small capacity battery, really slow autofocus of the camera,do you want me to go on...

Try again next time LG,and Nokia N73 all the way...
