Moto X Style (Pure Edition) review: Made to order

22 September, 2015
As the first flagship smartphone developed entirely under Lenovo’s stewardship, the Moto X Style (Pure Edition) is the biggest member of its product family to date. While the original impressed with its compact measures, the newcomer is a bona fide phablet thanks to is 5.7” display.

Good job Motorola. This looks really nice, the battery is the only letdown..

It will push upcoming nexus 5 in deep trouble

I think Motorola had been attached to their design language.
      Like LG and Sony.
400 dollar is just like Moto G's position right now...steal the place you could steal.
And be the first reccomendation at that price.

Great device, the true flagship killer 2015 IMHO, but why no in depth display test and loudspeaker test?

Most anticipated review ! Thanks GSM Arena !

Well Moto X Series still lacks a lot in battery performance. Quick charging is added, hence it may not be a big drawback.

AnonD-276592, 23 Sep 2015And you call this Chinaphone a "Note 5 Killer"?well pure android is always better than that of touchwiz found in Note 5 because sooner or later it will start lagging like hell because of poor RAM management on Samsung smartphone.

One of the best all-rounded smartphone at the moment, IMO.

It ticks all the right boxes:
                            Camera
                            Audio
                            Display
                            Design
                            Construction
                            Battery (although that's average)
                            Expandable storage
Processing power (that's average for a flagship)
Still at $400 its a steal.

That battery life is just pure MEH. Either a ROM bug or an inefficient cheapo display panel, then it will be skimping on BOM as usual.
