Gionee Elife E8 hands-on: First look

9 October, 2015
Gionee has established Elife as its flagship series. This year, Gionee decided to go big with the new E8, and quite literally at that. The E8 is a big phone thanks to a new 6.0-inch QHD but it also packs in quite a lot of features, including a 24 megapixel rear camera, a fingerprint sensor, and an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor. All packed in a new metal body.

Very bed experience as an owner of elife e7 about updating the phone. Otherwise good hardware. But worst after sales service.

The Gionee Elife E8 is the same as the BLU Pure XL, BLU Pure XL sells for $350 in Amazon which is way cheaper. The problem is that BLU Pure XL has LTE Bands that works only in the US according to the spec sheet here LTE Bands 2/4/17 1900/1700/2100/700. While the Gionee Elife E8 has LTE Bands that work with International 4G LTE Networks. If you will purchase the Pure XL you will get only HSPA+.

That has not launched yet (launching this month). My point was if you're in the US, you can get it through Blu from Amazon
