Samir, 22 Feb 2016All idiots yapping about chipset.. SD400 is pretty much sam... moreSnapdragon 410 is noticeably faster than 400
I have checked a moto g 3rd gen 1 GB RAM and compared with moto g 2nd gen, both running marshmallow. Difference was clear.
Snapdragon 410 in the Moto g3 clearly faster. 64 bit is not a gimmick. Cortex a53 is faster than cortex a7, you can find this result when doing some resource intensive task.
Back in 2014 when Motorola released the Moto g 2nd gen, people complained about the dated sd400 CPU it was using. SD400 was termed dated in 2014. Its a shame that htc is still releasing phones with this dated chip.
At lower price than the desire 825, I can get the lg k10 which has an octa core meditek mt6753 CPU, which blows the sd400 out of the water in both CPU power and graphics.
Your claim about sd400 being easy to update is also wrong. Most sd400 phones like the moto g 1st gen, xperia m2 aqua, support has been dropped for them. All new phones come with sd410 or other new processors.

Samir, 22 Feb 2016All idiots yapping about chipset.. SD400 is pretty much sam... moreI totally agree! SD410 it's a slightly upgraded SD400, in terms of power saving maybe, but nothing else... In benchmark test they score pretty much equal. I dont understand such a big deal about this. I have a Samsung GALAXY S3 Neo, with pretty much same specs, same SD 400, with 1.4GHz quad core, 1,5 GB of RAM, and it works perfectly. No lags, it runs all heavy 3D games without any problems. Those specs are still good and i dont see a problem with that. For normal usage like whatsupp viber messenger facebook, it's more than enough. Cameras are good, there is enough storage. Everything for normal user.

Samir, 22 Feb 2016All idiots yapping about chipset.. SD400 is pretty much sam... moreI agree with you but I think 32 bit chipset (snapdragon 400) is outdated in a new Android phone in 2016.. even company like Sony and Samsung have better value than this.

"The HTC One X9 will begin rolling out in North Asia, Europe, and the Middle East from the end of this month."
How about SEA? Are we left in the cold?? :(

GSMA please put a big picture of X9 as the headline picture of page 2. Thx.

All idiots yapping about chipset.. SD400 is pretty much same to SD410 that 64-Bit is a gimmick!

SD425 is not yet being mass produced..blame Qualcomm not HTC.

Besides SD400 is an older SoC it will be far easier to push updates..

Remember Android One phones are selling with Mediatek 6572 SoC's & running Marshmallow with promised upgrade to Android N.

Its not about power..design & functionality is most important in a phone..you want power go buy chinese junk with SD615 which fails miserably in software

HTC One X-9 is THE PHONE for me, after seeing that arrogant stupid toy called LG G5. Oh god, what a disappointment LG gave us! Thankfully, HTC just delivered a better midranger.

Desire 825 is strange in one way. It has on-screen menu keys and then below screen menu keys too? And by the looks of it, it seems like you disable the on-screen ones? Then why put below screen menu keys? Its kind of a strange design flaw. Really
