Ever had this phone about 11 years ago. Whilst people prefered nokia 6600 or SE K750 I went with this one. Best phone for the one who wanted to be different that time.

I have used the S65 for about three years now - never had any trouble with it until recently when there was a glitch with the file system which made the phone crash when I tried to access the notes.
I was able to reformat the phone and restore the address book using the phone manager software. Only problem is that the backup program doesn't save the T9 (predictive text) dictionary, so you'll need to download a new copy or make your own backup before reformatting.
The camera is absolute rubbish, and the lack of MP3 player a serious oversight, but for a "grown up" who needs a reliable phone and access to data, it's good. Use the cable connection with a PC; the bluetooth connection proved very fragile, and you won't get much done in the short time between failures.
I haven't had to use BenQ support since the takeover, but there is enough info and downloadable stuff on the internet to keep my S65 off the scraphap for a while.
If you can do without a camera or MP3 support, you won't be disappointed.

Siemens S65: Poor camera - totally useless indoors(!), while just more or less usable outdoors. Video capability is a joke - extremely(!) low quality. Very slow software - slow to load or quit, irritatingly slow to react. Hangs up from time to time. Finally, after just 1 year in use, the screen suddenly went white. So it is completely useless piece of junk now, as to repair it might cost you as much as to buy a new, better telephone. My sincere recommendation - avoid it at all cost!

I have a mean problem with this phone, it has a very bad signal reception,My old nokia 1100 grabs better singal than this phone,sometimes i lose signal reception at all, while my old nokia still showing network coverage,
My question is:
is this problem only with my phone or it's a genral problem with The Siemens S65,im From egypt My operator's Vodafone EG,Plz if anybody has a solution for this problem plz contact me via email.

my music is only playing in the mp3 format and i can not use my bluetooth to get music from other phone unless is in the audio format and very short,is there a sotfware that i can use to do this.when i put a screensaver the phone lock and say swith off. my battery get low very quickly how long is the normal battery has to last.

i just wanted to say something this was ma first camera phone and it has a useless camera i dont know how did they shoot these pics its a very poor camera vga camera get more useful pics it seems like its black and white shooting camera and very poor indoor needs a high amount of light doesnt have night mode the screen is very dark that u would hate it the sound of it is loud but not nice at all u wont like it and the battery get losen very soon and there's nothing seems like written there is a camera but useless the bluetooth connection is very slooooooooooooow and irda as well the 0 button brokes up very soon as well u may say that maybe ma phone had some problem but u r wrong not only ma phone ma uncle's phone had these problems as well and u wont find any games that work on it and it supports very small amount of formates amr,wav,mid,srt and 3gp,mp4 and jpg,gif i think those are all now i have the new sonyericsson w800i and i wont say how am i convinced with that phone ofcourse i wont compare it with the siemens but it is a gr8 phone except 4 sonyericsson's bad joystick thats all
