Face the fact that both samsung and LG are Asian manufacturer and so is most phone vendor such as Sony, HTC, Asus, and even the former American Motorola is now Asian because they're owned by Lenovo not to mention the Google Pixel is also made by Asian (HTC in this regard). And Asian loves to take every food before they eat and post it to social media and even take many silly things just to update their status. So phone camera is far more important feature than to bragging anything about phone that can unlock with irises which is not important at all or so. Save your judgment because I'm one of the Asian that love to do so.

Wide angle has not even come into picture.....it is the most amazing feature of g5's camera which is not on any smart phone present..it is very advantageous

I just came here to check out how the cameras are, and I cant believe people think one is superior to the other....
Then people say they need it to take great indoor shots at parties, restaurants etc.
Buy a real camera for that!
You spend $800 on a phone yet you cant spend $400 on a sony rx100m2? Its compact and will out do any phone out there, it even sends the pictures to your phone, you can even use your phone to remotely control your camera, wow, and you guys bitch and whine about what phone can take better potato pictures yet cant even come close to a real camera.
If you go to any event without a dedicated camera I automatically assume you are an idiot.

Personally had 2 lgs in my life and I had big big problem with optimums 3d and had problem with s5 too but had 3 notes and never had any problem

Hello guys, i must say that both phones are great, however i would suggest, you go for the s7, i have an lg g4, which has almost 6 months old, however wifi, bluetooth an internet are not working anymore, they wont turned on, like at all. Also battery life is awful, i have restetted it 2 times, and still the same thing, now i can't trust lg g5. and you know some people have said that its made out of plastic, just painted like if it had an aluminum chassis.

... moreUm the Note 4, s6, s7, note 5 are all factually tested to have the best calibrated screens.
And you can change it to your liking.
Lgs is in one setting you can't change and has an extremely blue unnatural white.
The S7 had better colors in photos too. Gsm even said that themselves.
The G5 has an amazing fingerprint scanner while the S7 has a mediocre one????? Lololol
Um the front camera in the S7 is a "wide camera".
Disaster spreaker? ....and the rest i mean come on. ...we get it you like the G5 more. ..but why be a lying exaggerating troll

Oh the results were completely opposite to my expectations..
Wow hats off LG....
The photos are really very good
From a technical aspect
IMO I didn't liked LG's approach in low light conditions they tend to keep noise low by lowering Iso but at the same time increasing shutter speed which may result in shaky image...
But 3 axis OIS has done its job
I wish LG changes their auto mode algorithm a bit by lowering shutter speed and increasing a bit iso.
