I once thought it was a good idea to put a 35mm focal length camera on a phone that can display in black and white only at a toggle, with collaboration with Olympus to develop the camera. Shows what I know...
Huawei's monochrome sensor developed by Leica is a way better idea. This is by far, the most desirable phone to be announced this year. I can't wait for the review.

"The Huawei P9 and P9 Plus will launch on April 16, arriving first in the following markets. The P9 will cost £450 ($630/€555) and the P9 Plus £550 ($770/£680)."
That's quite a lot of money for phone with questionable durability, poor after sales support and no software updates.

Thanks as always for putting up an awesome article. Small detail on the first page - the specs. You've put Huawei P9 and Huawei P9 but obviously you meant to call one of them the P9 Plus! 😉

That dual camera set up had better produce some incredible images - I don't see anything else in the specs department to make this phone stand out much.
Watch out LG G5 - Huawei Five Oh is coming after you! ;)
