Come on, I cant deny that G5 is the clear winner in almost all aspect, i cant take away the right of LG G5 to be the best right now...easy to operate camera and the amazing result is without any effort...fyi I own one..H860N model.

When comparing cameras are all the setting possibilities used or just Auto mode?
Detail in a RAW picture is not the same as in a JPG, is RAW used when available?
Manual WB, centered vs multi focus/light metering?
Etc. etc.

You have a right to review phones camera's but I'd rather expect the ones done on Dxomark since they only focus on cameras.

G5 has the best smartphone camera. Accept the facts, guys. Whoever is keen on having best pictures, will go for it. I personally like to take pictures, but also need good design and battery life, so there are other options that will fufill my desires as well. However, this is only shootout, not cpu nor gpu test. And LG G5 does the best job here, closely followed by S7.

Why the so frequent camera-only tests??? Rather compare each devices hardware and overall performance to each other. I mean who cares if the one camera takes better stills than the other??? Go buy a standalone camera!

I think at the end of the topic, GSMArena should prepare a Table with all tests in a row and mobiles' models in columns and mention winners and runner-ups in each cell (if they'll do it in MS Excel).

I took my time to compare these photos thoroughly, in my opinion S7 comes out the best in each of the tests, I will take an S7 Edge any day over the others !!.

The Samsung S7 / Edge has the best camera..... period.
The reason constant comparisons are made against it, is because it represents the pinnacle of photographic prowess.....
The LG G5 camera is a mediocre performer at best.... If you think its anywhere as good as the S7 camera - you're living in dream world.....
Read Dpreview's review of the LG G5 camera..... The talk..... Please bear in mind that the G5 uses a 3 year old sensor..... Its not going to really compete with the latest & greatest from other manufacturer's......
Despite your glowing praise for the G5's camera..... unfortunately its not going to help its fledgling sales figures...... Nice try.... but no cigar...... :)

Very disappointed with this review.
So many important areas not touched upon such as focusing speed which IMO is something definitely worth mentioning on favour of the S7 or to truly know which of these are the best.
Stabilisation test would have been great another benefit for the s7.
I hate to bang on about the s7 but the low light tests were very limited. They should have added many more extreme low light not just mid low light because that's where we can see true low light performance and again that's where the s7 shines in low light.
Also more mention of the g5s wide angle camera would have been nice.
Not enough variety in photos.
Personally I'd go for s7 but the G5 is amazing.

You just need to accept that the 10 is the greatest flagship of the year!
