And for the last time, Samsung displays have a basic mode which is the most accurate display in the mobile market. It isn't over saturated in the least, unlike the xperia x.

Dual heatpipes, 05 Jun 2016I don't know why those trolls can always trolling Sony? 4k ... moreEven if I want to troll, I would troll constructively(could you imagine the irony) because that's how bad the issue is. Even dummies could outwit your arguments with just a sensible basis.
You could not get past the pricing madness and you're already complaining. Back to your tower now fanboy and defend well. Trolls incoming. Your welcome.

When choosing a device with a expensive price we also have to mention the durability , is the fast charging ensure the battery durable or prolong the battery lifespan? The answer is varies from person to person, but I think Qnovo battery tech is a important requirement for a seal battery phone, my faithfully.

Which make the phone become even better if it is a seal battery phone, a fast charging battery or a fast charging with Qnovo battery tech? The answer is in your mind.

Lower is better / most accurate
Galaxy S7 edge - 0.8
Galaxy S7 - 1.7
Xperia X - 4.0
So, Galaxy S7 edge (basic mode) has the most accurate display in the mobile market.

Why 'must' the screen of the X Performance be great eh???
It would seem through review and evaluation from various sources now that the screens on these new X series devices are far from perfect, they are by no means bad, but they do have deficiencies in several areas. They are not the best displays on the market as you fanboy types would like to believe.
And what is it with you fanboys and the inability to differentiate between trolling and critique anyway????
You've all used the 'troll' term to such a constant (and in the vast majority of cases inaccurate) degree that the word has long since lost its meaning and impact.
Time to think up another slur to cover for your own bias I would suggest to you fanboys.

Dual heatpipes, 05 Jun 2016I don't know why those trolls can always trolling Sony? 4k ... moreAnandtech tested the display and showed the colours are innacurate and over saturated. Samsung on the other hand has the most accurate display in the mobile market.
But this doesn't matter to a rabid Sony fan of course.

AnonD-521587, 05 Jun 2016I dont get why so many people are complaining about 4k. 4k ... moreYou don't have to just complain about 4k though
There is also the 3gb ram and poor Toshiba storage io performance
The plastic frame, and the large bezels
The lower resolution display
The poorly calibrated display with inaccurate colours
The price, and being over 4 months late to market
The 1080p camera shutting off features in just 3 minutes and shutting the camera down after another 6 minutes
The lack of fingerprint sensor in some markets
There's an awful lot of things wrong with it, and getting a few things right like the front facing camera or front facing speakers just don't make up for the long list of flaws. I don't understand how Sony fans can sit there and defend it when there are clearly better phones out there, ones that are actually out. It is by far the most disappointing phone this year.

I don't know why those trolls can always trolling Sony? 4k or not then screen... whatsoever. The screen of the Xperia X Performance must be great, if you like toys color choose your Samsung Amoled phone, that's all. You got your favourite. Don't trolling and bashing Sony here, we are tired to reading you/competitors posting here, and your posting already cover our comments.

AnonD-521587, 05 Jun 2016I dont get why so many people are complaining about 4k. 4k ... moreWhile I agree that most people don't need/use 4K video recording, I think the more important part of this is that Sony is going backwards with their flagship devices... and charging more for it. The Z2 had 4K recording in 2014, and yet their FLAGSHIP device in 2016 doesn't have it, for who the hell knows what reason.

AnonD-521587, 05 Jun 2016I dont get why so many people are complaining about 4k. 4k ... moreIm not sure its really correct to say that something like 4k can be invented, but rather achieved first in a given application.
To that end a quick look at wikipedia will reaveal that the first commericial product to feature 4k capabilities was the Dalsa Origin in 2003, Sony it would seem were mearly (though commendably) first to market with a 4k home theatre system in 2011.
Also if 4k is nothing more than a gimmick as you say, then you might want to have a chat with Sony as they seem rather intend on pushing it: "Sony is one of the leading studios promoting UHDTV content"
Now yes it does say tv content above, but as there are ever more ways for us to get the footage we record on our smartphones onto tv's these days I'm pretty sure a Sony would include it that as part of their 'UHDTV content' category.
So that would make the reason for them removing this feature from the current X series somewhat bizzare to say the least, and maybe there are other factors to the decision??

I dont get why so many people are complaining about 4k. 4k was invented by sony first btw. And it's mostly a gimmick. The phones are optimized for 1080p footage, 4k will eat up your storage so quickly, heat up your phone and drain your battery. IT's not even meant to be used as a daily thing.
Besides, sony had it first so why do people care so much about it all of the sudden. Where was everyone when sony had it?
Oh that's right, paying 700 dollars for phones made out of plastic looking golfballs with laggy touchwiz taking a shit on itself only after 3 months of usage.

Well, what do U expect after an hour of heavy gaming ? of course the phone is going to heat internally & some functions won't work properly.

When I look back at the z5 series, I can't help but wonder how those beautiful trio capable of UHD video recording were fated to bear a Snapdragon 810. Now that that blasted bastard of a Qualcomm chipset is out of the way with 820's redemption, this time two of the X series had traumatically withdrawn the 4k filming feature
In essence, 4k recording future-proofs your present work. Much like the case in HD which wasn't needed back then when the Standard Definition (480p) was the thing. Same story with the FHD. You can take a high quality image out of your video frames as well.
And it's not like you are going to shoot a short indie film for about an hour (or maybe you will) everytime you use it. It is to capture those short priceless moments (whatever it is) and when 4k TV is too common in the future, you will appreciate those incredible details taken from your old and lovable (AND reliable) Sony smartphone. Or could have been just saved projects. Maybe random, artistic shots. Anything.

Dissipation of that heat is what appears to be the problem, maybe Sony should have thrown a couple more heatpipes into the X eh????

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2016I have recorded about one hour clip of 4K-video on my Nexus... moreActually recording 4k at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps takes about the same strain on the SoC, about same amount of data processed too....
The guy stopped it at 40min, it didnt forceclose the camera app. And to avoid forceclosing the app due to extra heat up, Sony disables some SoC straining camera features until the SoC cools down....
I think that is good software solution right there
Either way, its always better to be able to make out a 30- 60 min video clip in one piece if needed, than having to do 3-6 10min videos separately.
Sammy overheat prevention solution with max 10min clips is in my opinion really dumm.
