AnonD-292864, 26 Sep 2016Official Asus site says Zenfone 3 Ze552kl has fast charging.It supports 5V 2A charging, which is also mentioned on the website. That is not fast charging. The device was tested with multiple other chargers and 5V 2A is the best it can do. The rate of charging is not consistent with other fast charging standards because IT IS NOT TRUE FAST CHARGING.

Unfortunately the price has been greatly inflated by the local distributor in Malaysia and from what iIgather also in Singapore and India.
Otherwise, a good effort from Asus soiled by the greedy local distributor.

I was eagerly expecting Asus's ZF3 since the May announcement. The months passed by but no product was in sight. When they first became available in some markets, the pricing was as absurd and nothing like they said when first announced.
I loved my ZF2, which I bought for $300 for the 4GB/64GB version, and it is a great phone (had to give it to my wife as her phone died), and was looking for a replacement.
ZF3's specs were not so exciting, but at the right price could be a great phone. Well, I got tired of waiting and was not willing to pay the absurd amount Asus is asking.
I ordered a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Special Edition like 2 weeks ago, a much better deal at $180 with shipping to the US for the 3GB/32GB.

timmy, 27 Sep 2016quite a lot actually. the screen is on when you watch movie... morenot many phones do that. 6 hour SOT is one of the best. Most phones will give 4-5 hours of SOT. Yes, GSMA does give web browsing, video etc but that is not the best indicator of SOT.

Akalp, 27 Sep 2016How many phones give 6 hours screen on time.quite a lot actually. the screen is on when you watch movies, right? also when you browse. gsmarena has tests based on how long you can browse and watch movies, and 6 hours is really quite on the low end.
