Over all to me the Photo C is the best among all, the colour is rich and sharpenes and crisp are good, overall to the eye is the best from the rest.
To identify which phone is, it's GSMArena part to do.

Detail wise, B is mostly better than the rest but that's only because of excessive sharpening which looks very painful, and colors are too saturated for my taste so no. C has pleasantly punchy colors but sharpening artifacts are a big no. A is slightly worse in detail compared to B but not by a huge margin and sharpening is kept at pleasant level. I also appreciate the relatively neutral colors. D is a middle ground, which doesn't really stand out but details are either over-sharpened or over-smudged. My preference when zoomed out(for web usage) is: C A D B and when zoomed in: B A D C

As the current owner of 2 N8s, an 808, a 1020, and a Z3 Compact (as well as now a Galaxy S7): Oh come now. In daylight, the N8 was wonderful, but both it and the 808 got dark and muddy in low light without the flash. The 1020 fixed those problems but the shot to shot times were abominable, and then Windows Phone sh-t the bed. I loved the Z3C for many reasons, but the camera was always a disappointment; purple flare, lack of dynamic range, and image processing that baffled the mind. The current crop of phones are significantly better than than all of those classics in many ways, even my bright yellow 1020 with the matching camera grip that was the exact right size for my hands and had that gorgeous PureBlack AMOLED screen...but I digress...

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2016Gsmarena, please put a DSLR image for reference. Absolutely!!!! Even for the voters that are professionals, this it's a must
Well we could easily pick the best picture or video, but how could we say which represent the most natural colors?
Or they deliberately don't do it, so to keep the myth that iPhone have the most natural colors?

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2016Gsmarena, please put a DSLR image for reference. Agree. As an amateur in this world, I don't really know how it should be done in detail, a dslr image would really help as a goal benchmark.

The problem is a lot of people viewing these images from uncalibrated screen or monitor, including myself. So we might have different view on this one. Anyway my votes goes for still images are all D, (don't care if it an iPhone or not) A images are a little dull, (probably more natural) C images clearly have problem with noise :D
For daylight video I voted C,less sharpening and still look good. B clearly bumped the sharpening and saturation, D seems like out of focus.
For low light video I prefer B, though a little dark it contain more details

AnonD-442781, 18 Oct 2016I'd say it's mainly between a and b, with d coming in third... moreI can't stand the B.The white balance is always too warm, the colors oversaturated, the most oversharpened of all. There is a tree in low light shot thats reddish while on all others the leaves are clearly yellow.
But still,milles better than C

[deleted post]My God,if they resize it and still shows THAT much noise, imagine what would happen on original file? :D
P.S. second set of daylight images(Sony's strong suit).Good WB and colors that are not too much saturated. But than look at the shadow of the tree(main focal point) and you"ll see everything is smeared up everything dark and messy.Yup C is the Sony, you can"t miss it

[deleted post]Lol. Thanks for admitting you think Sony's camera sucks. First you said that Sony had noise and detail, and that's how you recognised it. Now you are saying the resolution was low, so obviously you were lying when you earlier said you recognised Sony through detail.
So that leaves what? You, as a Sony fanboy, recognise Sony pictures because of how much noise they have and nothing more. Hahahahaha.

I think, This comparison was a bit irrelevant! Why included that Xperia and LG phones here? this must be Apple vs. Samsung only. Just like in American politics, Those who are lower in polls must not include in the debate! And many more examples. This must be also apply when it comes to smarphone world, less sale and popularity must always be ignore, and must not be par or rank to a popular and best selling smartphones.
