I have never hated an electronic device as much as this phone. If for some reason you want a phone from 2016, DON'T BUY THIS ONE! Rear camera focus stopped working at one year of use. Bluetooth shortcut sometimes does not function, underpowered processor, often requires a restart to download or update an app. The list goes on...

Hi i am looking for a new mobile phone asap. After much reading from gsm arena i narrow down to 2 options. Huawei P9 Lite and Asus zenfone 3. The thing is we have more options for zenfone 3 in here for instance the one with 3GB Ram with 32Gb memory with 5.2" screen or 4Gb ram and 32Gb memory with 5.2" screen or this 4Gb ram with 64Gb memory with 5.5" screen.
Regarding the pricing in my region
P9 lite is around usd245
Zenfone 3 with 3Gb/32G/5.2" usd305
Zenfone 3 with 4Gb/32G/5.2" usd325
Zenfone 3 with 4Gb/64G/5.5" usd378
I will be mainly using it for social media (facebook, instagram), take photos, videos.
Which one would you recommend?
Thank you.

A nearly perfect phone if Asus can improve the battery capacity of it.

Hi, GSMArena team!
Thank you for nice review!
Could you please explain, how did you make those light drawing long exposure photos with car's lights trace on road on ZenFone 3? Did you use some hardware neutral grey dark filter glass in front of camera lens to make longer exposure? I tried to make such kind of photo on my ZenFone 3 and found out, that I could not change aperture (as I can on DSLR), so even at night I can use only quite fast shutter speeds even on ISO 50 so I can't get long (exposure) enough to create such kind of long light traces.
And one more thing: I found out, that in many reviews (even on Moto G XT1039 - I also have this phone now) you have beautiful deep blue sky in camera tests (even in sunlight, when the dynamic range is very wide). How did you create this? Did you attatch some gradient filters to darken sky? Or make post production on photos? On my ZenFone 3 and on Moto G XT1039 comparing to your test shots even in similar conditions the camera hardly can show so mad dynamic range on direct sunlight scenes (I have to choose between dark shadows and blue sky, but not both at one time). I understand, that it can be a question of shooting skill, but nevertheless your shots looks much better, than average point and shot files.

Best phone I've ever owned. From Palm Treos to Samsung Note 4, this Asus is the cats ass. Blazing fast, plenty of RAM for swapping between apps and 0% lag. Photos are awesome especially in low light and music is crisp and full with headphones. Screen and resolution are very good and I like the built in blue light filter. Everything is customizable which is nice. I keep reading about the chipset being sub-par but it hasn't impacted anything I've had to do. I don't really game on it I only use it to surf the net, play music and take photos and video. When my Note 4 died my warranty plan sent me a credit to buy a new phone and instead of buying an overpriced Pixel XL or Samsung S7 Edge I bought 2 ZenFone 3s for myself and my wife and she loves it too. I highly recommend the ZenFone 3 to anyone.
