@Below 7000 : redmi 2s prime
@Above 7000 : redmi 3 is better than any 8000 phone.
@Above 8000 : better spend extra and get redmi note3 (for performance) or redmi note 4 (a little compromise in performance for looks and little more battery life). Both are at 10000.
@Above 10000 : redmi note 3 (3Gb+32GB) in 12000 or redmi note 4(4GB+64GB)in 13000.
Above 13000 : Samsung Galaxy S5 for 16000. Forget about moto Gs.
@ about 20000 :
1)Oneplus 2 64GB for 20000
2)xiaomi MI Max (4+128) for 20000
If one plus 2 size big for you, better stick with S5.
@ about 25000 : moto x force 32GB 25000
@ about 30000 : oneplus 3 (28000), 3T (30000) moto x force 64GB (30000)
@ about 35000 : galaxy S6 /S6 edge.
#top notch flagship : S7 /S7 edge , v20 but you BETTER wait for Sd835.
And before arguing "this phone is also better in this category but u did not mention it", check if I mentioned a better phone in cheaper range.

Would love to get my hands on a Vivo xplay 6 sometime next year. Godly phone in my opinion. The xplay 5 was everything I wanted and still enjoying the phone.

My take is...if you're going to remove it, make sure to have something actually innovative or useful in its place...Bluetooth is not the answer.

Everything apart,Note 7 will remain as a great disappointment for Samsung phones and that Xiaomi's Mi Mix taking the award of one of the best concepts this year.Apple surely needs to learn that market still lies in the phone market not in the superphone market (in reference to performance surely) with the iphone 7.The ranking for best smartphone still remains keeping S7 at helm and iphone 7 following it in the premium segment and the Oneplus 3T best value for money device.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will still be in everyones minds,thinking how can a company who produces so many phones,release a phone that explodes,the pressure put on Samsung now will be really bad,after they just rushed out the Note 7 just because Apple was going to announce the iPhone 7,Samsung now know what caused the batteries to explode but still have not admitted who was to blame,Galaxy S7 Edge seems to be the Best phone for 2016 so how can the Note 7 be cancelled by Samsung seems very odd,so delaying the announcement of the future Galaxy S8 shows to the critics that Samsung have not solve there battery problem yet

surely Note 7 was the biggest disappointment of the year , highly appreciated iphone 7 plus, note 7 no matter was the greatest phone gave a direct competition to Apple on its way to go
I'm curious about galaxy S8 edge this year also about Nokia's android smartphone . I always love visiting GSMArena a great web indeed keep it up guys

Mi Mix is a remarkable product. I highly doubt big names like Samsung or LG or Motorola(Lenovo) would dare to experiment like that in 2017. So in my opinion it is at least a couple of years ahead. The only way its popularity and demand can accelerate is other Chinese companies copycat mi mix.

I think the best smartphone ever in 2016 is huawei mate 8 and motorola moto x play
while the most disappointing thing is that so many glass design in 2016 as galaxy s7

[deleted post]Your opinion, but it would not appear in my top 10. First, the 7 plus is a better all around phone, second it is too big for the size of screen and too many missing features a phone of its price should have. If I wanted a small IOS phone I would go for the SE rather than the 7.

I do wonder though why aren't you hiring female editors... o_o
but contrary to that. iPhone SE is indeed a godly phone (minus the crappy selfie camera) the Mi Mix's design is HEAVENLY. and admittedly. before the debacle of Galaxy note 7. I WANTED IT SO BADLY!!!! (And sammy didn't bring it to my country. T_T)
mate 9 has roughly the same preformance as Snapdragon 820. preformance wise. but DESIGN WISE. it's a breathtaker.
