Why the change of processor? Why mediatek? And 5000 mAh battery without fast charging, just how long will you charge the phone?

Dearest quality enthusiasts. This Max is good for $140 but it could have been better with FHD,up to date Bluetooth 4.2+its 5 important auxiliaries(if not Bluetooth 5!!)USB + otg,....Nevertheless this 5000 massive battery deserves much more!!But good for $140 or maybe less for everyone having it!!!No!!!?Thanks mentioned names.Justice Rights.Omid 12 Omidvar...

Please don't do such short reviews. It's actually more disappointing than not having any review in the first place. I expect high-quality and comprehensive reviews from GSMArena.

Thanks for the review!
A request for future reviews/previews/etc where you list specs:
In the portion CPU/GPU portion (ie:MediaTek MT6750 SoC...Mali...GPU) please add the manufacturing node that that SOC is on, ie: @ 16nm FinFET or @28nm.
One of the things that irks me is a LOT of phones in 2016 (and still ongoing) were still released on the garbage 28nm node that's notorious for relatively bad battery life and overheating and I'd really like to see this info upfront or at least mentioned in the review rather than having to search elsewhere on what process a given SoC is on. It's a small addition to your spec tables, but I'm sure a lot of enthusiasts would appreciate it.

To tell you honestly guys, without even joking, Asus has given me so far, the worst experience on a smartphone. I bought my Zenfone Max around 5 months ago and while everything is good, or sometimes actually great, but several issues existed. First one is the very fragile screen. I know it's my fault for accidentally dropping it on a concrete, but I guess not all Gorilla Glass 4 are as tough as Corning claims it to be. I tried to look for the nearest service center and it's roughly around 2.5km away from my home, and they're asking for another $50 for the screen replacement. That's 1/3 of the price I paid for the phone. Second, after Marshmallow update, my Music player became slow as hell, almost unusable to say. I asked Asus about the issue and they told me to go back to the service center. I'm tired of going back again there, as they might cost me $25 to fix that software issue. Last, the SIM card is now losing its signal on my phone. The phone detects the SIM but doesn't receive any signal at all. I read that Zenfone 2 users experienced the same issue and the issue was actually from the SIM tray, which costs $10 to repair. From $150, now I'll pay $230 for this piece of junk that lags so much behind the similarly priced phone. I guess I'll regret buying another Asus phone again. If I was just smart enough, I could've bought the J7 2016 for a slightly higher price but better performance and durability overall. I'm just waiting until I finally finish my contract of paying this phone, and I'll throw it into the garbage. Just kidding, I'll sell it for $100 (wonder if anyone would even buy it with that condition lol) and buy the J7 2016 in which the price will significantly drop to $100 as the J7 2017 comes out. Sorry Asus, but you disappointed me. Better my Zenfone Max gets updated to Nougat before my friends' J5 and J5 2016 get it

Hope it also does not end up with screen problems that Asus don't want to resolve as the one before this one.

GSMArena Team,
I request you to not publish the review until its fully done in your typical style. What is the use of such review? It is not going to help any of the readers..... For 5000mAh battery phone u r not providing endurance rating and no Cons???? Disappointed......
