I would love to expect new Nokia 3310 to have the old specs but with waterproof feature. Its a best backup phone for emergency scenarios plus its world known durabilty is still unmatched. This is some of the specs I was hoping someday Nokia will have on its classic phone:
- Waterproof / Dustproof
- WIFi or internet enough for messaging in case you have important emails

- OKAY

AnonD-648112, 27 Feb 2017where is pureview technology?
taken by microsoft?PureView & ClearBlack Display
These two were branding the tech, and what Microsoft have is the names only.. Not the tech behind it.

Nokia 6 is a good phone for its price. But overall a disappointment for me with the SD430 processor they used here. The only upgrade they made is for the screen size, 16MP camera, storage and RAM when compared with Nokia 5. I am highly anticipated for the Nokia 8 now. The SD835 demo on a smartphone they showed in one of their videos for its OIS/EIS performance was rumored to be the Nokia 8. I must say the OIS performance was a show stopper in that video. The way the processor handles the shakes. it is also rumored that the Nokia 8 is supposed to come with a SD835 and 23MP CarlZeiss lens. Waiting for that killer combo, if they also decide it to build with a beefy battery. Being a proud Nokia 1520 user, I only have the issue with fast battery depletion at the moment. I would only want to settle with something better, which I believe it would be the Nokia 8. Does any one know that Nokia had handed over their proprietary Pureview technology to Microsoft? I heard the Microsoft surface phone is about to hit the market on 2018, which is rumored to be their flagship business phone with high end specs and a 43 MP camera.

Untouched android is a welcome choice but snapdragon 430? Seriously? It sucks. Nokia should have choose snapdragon 650 series.

"Well, it comes with 16GB of on-board storage, some of which is used up by the OS and apps."
Hmmm, the specs say it's 16MB not 16GB. So which is it? :-)
Anyway, I like the Android ones more. If the 3310 looked better and had at least S40 it would have been something, but I suppose it will be OK for many people.

All i wanted for nokia 3310 is to have a bigger battery. Thats it. Nothing more. And i will buy it and maybe galaxy s 8 if Samsung done it right ;-) and yes to be a legend.... it has to pass orignal 3310 durability test.

We need to see some drop test videos of the 3310. I don't like the new design :( And as it comes with 2.5G only, it could have had WiFi to the least.
