Its been always p10 or its younger brother..i guess it got decent performance..but weak graphics..
I saw with x series chipset graphics were decent too..if meizu produce devices with x 20 or 25 instead p 20 it would be great..

Muthu, 08 Mar 2017GSM team, thanks for the shorter reviews while covering mos... moreA coupLe of slides about peak performance that is hardly impactful (1 test for cpu and maybe two for gpu would be enough). Absolutely no mention of the capacity to retain background apps and how many (probably the most important metric for every day performance).
Battery test does not take in account actual usage scenarios (foreground + background apps working in tandem).
So I agree, the cutting of fat was a welcome ... "addition", but it would have been much preferable to address some of their long standing issues with their methodology.

Rokka, 10 Mar 2017Please add another category under battery life which is Cha... moreWe test every phone coming for a review how much battery it fills in 30 minutes, and it's always mentioned in the battery section. Sometimes we write this in key features as well. Even in this short format review, the 30 minutes charging test is mentioned twice.
Hope this helps.

Such a low battery rating from just a 720p screen and 3000mAh battery?!
I guess we can point fingers at the dated chipset.

Why are they so invested in using crappy Mediatek processors? Why are they so obsessed with keeping not only the price low but the performance as well? I don't see any success for these phones on other markets beside the asian ones, in which performance is not a deal breaker at all.

Meizu must be the only brand leaving the same or even downgrading their newer models. Can't find logic in that.

they did mistake by accepting MTK's investment...now, for that relation, they can't get Qualcoom's or Samsung's SoCs as they used to do....and they don't have bright future infront...but hey, in China people still don't mind using MTK based devices...they don't mind that there are no ROMs and support....it's all good enough for them as long price is low.

GSM team, thanks for the shorter reviews while covering most of the important points. Please keep this format for low end and mid range phones.
