And your argument is nowhere near my point that 2gb extra ram wouldn't cost much if you are selling it for 900 dollars and second, if 4k is not overkill than 6gb is not overkill. And third, phones with 3gb ram, 4gb ram and 6gb ram all perform smoothly but more important purpose is how much data you can leave in background. XZP has 4 times the screen of XZ so apps will be much larger in background, so is thumbnail cache and other junk. And for your knowledge, 10mah can be fitted in that extra slot, Sony better learn from likes of xiaomi and Asus (yes it may be humiliating for them, but still) eg. Xiaomi redmi 3 - a 5" compact phone with 4100mah and Asus zenfone AR - same size as XZ but 3300mah +8 gb ram. Now you can understand how much space it takes.

OnePlus 3T is still the phone to go. Those price on flagships are ridiculous considering the specs.

Xperia XZ with 3GB of RAM not only competes with the 3T, but even can beat it in some ways, and we know the 3T has twice the amount of RAM as the XZ. I'd rather have larger battery in those slots in replace with the extra 2GB of RAM, which will not make any difference at all in real life

Disappointed by a few of your comments and surprised by alot.
G6 - To me, felt too light and plastic - while the tiny bezels are nice now, as soon as S8 is announced, exactly what will the USP of G6 be? Nothing from what I can make out besides a knock off S8?
3310 - Agree with alot, felt cheap, light and cheerful, everything it is. Although this success just hides the fact Nokia are NOT back and they have a long way to come.
XZ Premium - Had a play with this and I didn't find it awkward to record at all, in fact quite the opposite compared to the camera I have (RX100IV). Screen is just amazing colours look epic, and since i'm on EE guess i'll be getting 1GB/s before anyone else! Also - this is cheaper than the G6 (Clove listing it at £649)

I already wrote this but again requesting gsmarena team that we should see an article about "most fan favorite phones of 2016" one can see list but there are some phones from 2015 in list. At least it is more important than weekly most popular phone list, is it? @chavdar especially.

Team gsmarena is excited about G6 but they should consider one thing. the G6 is indeed a great phone, but actually it is the phone LG should have had a year ago (ie what the G5 should have been) but G5 was okay even without this new 2:1 screen and small bezels. So, the G6 is just a last year's good phone + small bezels big screen(just a touch of 2017) .
See, it has a 13MP camera with 1.12micron pixels behind f/1.8. remember g4? 16MP +1.12micron pixels behind f/1.8. So, may be its software is better and its accompanied by another 13MP cam, but the main camera doesn't look any better than it's two years old predecessor at least on paper. To make things worse, it has a processor from Last year and still carries full flagship price. LG must consider updating the G6 with SD835 because it'll still have time in the shopping season otherwise it will be a big mistake.
Only disappointing thing from Huawei was their approach to more iPhone like design language with which market is already flooded (oppo vivo) from a much more original and characteristic design of P8 /P9.
XZ is all win win except a smaaaall thing. If 4k is not overkill on a phone, why 6GB RAM? while XZP is premium by definition, don't think 2GB more RAM costs much.
Moto G5's design is plain boring. And should have had a bigger battery with that thick chassis. (don't forget xiaomi gives 4100mah in 5" redmi 3.
Nokia... Nostalgia overload, waiting.

According the designs language of the LG G6 and Huawei P10, I found a Owl and a Flatfish on their back cover. I finally realize the dual camera lens is ugly to perform in a small device. They don't know how to design dual camera lens to look better and gorgeous but it looks stale after sometimes.

Sony phones have nice features, but they've lost the plot on the amount of time their phones last between charges. They are horrible now. The last one with respectable battery life was the Z3. Cramming all these additional pixels on the screen and increasing screen size without the relative increase in battery size removes it from consideration for my 2017 purchase options.

All they did was bezeless which xiaomi is the first to implement waterproof well most of the flagship were waterproof nowadays. and some camera improvement. its just more on papers lg g6 much improve but frankly not.
i would pick xperia xz premium here since the dedicated ram to will give us more opportunities to what we can do. the taste of this was 960 FPS though it was .18 sec well they can make a little bit faster like 500 - 600 FPS to increased the duration. Also we might also get a less blurry shots without IOS. Truly a good hardware to consider this.
a new snapdragon is much faster than previous with a new video card on it. thats business sorry lg but asus ar was also affected but they install 8 gb of ram well gimmick but nice one if you just did a 6 gb of ram i might be reconsider it.
Yes 4k HDR is kinda gimmick well QHD HDR also is gimmick so what would you choose between those 2 the higher one or lower? but Xperia Xz premium has the option downscale to QHD and FHD. battery consumption wise.
Sound quality is almost a par sorry im not convinced that you need buy the other version just to gain some advantage on it. Also S-Force hardware was now install there also
ohh 18:9 G6 well i think possibility to get Third party in google might provide me here.
