Really hope they will further upgrade the phone processor into MEDIATEK X20. Then it will be the king of Ultra flagships

Good review and nice looking phone. I seriously doubt it can match the Mi Max's value but its good to have options when considering big phones

Great looking phone - with most mp 23+16 and eis+ois to choose from, great brightness, battery, colorful shots(would say intended as its on auto and as always every xperia is different), big screen. Most I miss in mid ranges is 4K recording, maybe next year? Considering camera, shots looks better with saturated colors even if its not so accurate, its more pleasing than washed out ones, also looking at color accuracy+brightness of screen, it seems intended, there is hardly fault in camera, you could say the same for Z line photos if you wouldn't know how is sony in processing and such.

Great review! If Sony was listening to their fans, they should have put at least a 3500mah battery in this phone, I have no problem with Mediatek SOC got the XA Ultra and totally satisfied with the performance plus Sony's UI is awesome but yeah battery isn't that great and from what I can make out from this review, the display on XA1 Ultra, quality wise is better than the 4K screen on Sony's flagship (XZP) like contrast ratio, brightness, blacks.. I guess the sheer number of pixels isn't everything. I also like the design of XA1 Ultra more than XZP the big edge to edge screen is gorgeous!
Can't wait to check this phone out. I hope they don't overprice this like they did with XZP especially in India.

No fingerprint reader in a phone that costs $400? Bwhahaha! Sony is a joke.
Tiny 2700 mAh battery in a 6" display phone, uninspiring MediaTek SoC, mediocre video quality. Neither Sony nor its fanboys are interested in coming to terms with reality from their dreamland.
