GSMArena smartphone buyer's guide: 2017 July edition

28 July 2017
It's the middle of the summer, which is traditionally a time in the year when the smartphone market settles down a bit. Manufacturers have already brought all their H1 flagships to the market and are focusing their efforts on their Fall and holiday quarter lineups. And without the turbulence of significant launches and announcements every week this looks like a perfect time for a new buyer's guide.

Quite complex summ-up but my winner for sub 200€ is Oukitel K6000Pro.
5,5FHD LCD Display, 3GB RAM, 6 000mAh battery with super fast charge, fingerprint sensor, 2x Sim plus SD Card...
Yes, it is a chinesse brick by all means but I own cheaper U7 Plus for more than 8 months and the chassis is just fine. Squeeks, is not really pleasant to hold but it doesnt bent and holds as it should. Plus the company does take care on the software side too (regular updates). And the reviews seems great too, the only problem it has is weight (214g) and availability. Same goes for U7 Plus which gets its job done great. Useless camera and battery life is just about non existent, but you can get it for about 60-70 bucks, buy powerbank and SD Maid full version plus greenify and you are safe and still under 100€. Plus spare parts are really cheap to get. I broke the digitizer because Im idiot and it cost me abou 12 bucks and I fixed it on my own, even though I have zero experiences.

I owned the pixel. It went dean one day just like that. It was only 33 days old but google refused to replace the handset. They did replaced the motherboard and display. But I felt cheated and purchased iPhone.

XZ Premium is the best smartphone.

Trump Fan 1980, 01 Aug 2017 What do you like about the Pixel? What do you dislike (if ... moreLikes: Smoothness. THE reason why I bought it. Extremely smooth phone, ditched the iPhone 7 for this, as this is the smoother phone than the other, simple as that. Then the camera obviously. Call quality too. Its a combination of a lot of things which complete a phone.

Dislikes: There is a random freezing issue, which comes and goes on its volition, my biggest gripe so far. Then the size, I have the XL, and its too big for me. And another thing is HTC's pathetic after sales service.

Gonna keep the phone for as long as I can and upgrade to Pixel 3 maybe. Never been this satisfied with a phone before. The moment I am typing this mine is running for almost two weeks straight, not a single FC or anything with any app (though I obviously don't use crap apps).
