LG superfan, 18 Oct 2017Headphone jack part I totally agree wireless suck and are w... moreI didn't say Apple is right in not adding SD card slot, I criticize every one that has any excuse to not have an SD card slot, It's not something that messes with integrity of design or waterproofing or anything, it's purely marketing technique to make more money so that people go for higher storage. And Google didn't have SD card slot, but they didn't have obscenely high prices which would warrant existence of these features, You could miss a feature or 2 for price tags less than 399$ (nexus 4 nexus 5 etc.) but not having it at 850$ is a problem for me. and mechanic analogy is wrong, it's like saying Google never had air bags(just as an analogy, i don't know laws in the US but air bags are not mandatory in my country, at least not yet) in the car so why complain not having in their new car? not having that at any point itself is the problem, just because they lacked a certain essential feature before doesn't mean they should continue lacking it.

jmg, 20 Oct 2017 Type-C to 3.5 mm headphone jack adapterSeriously? Stop blindly defending. That's a foolish interference to help work on a problem that should not be an issue. And introduces it's own issues.
This is not because wireless is the future. That's the future. This is the present.
Currently there are no user benefits from this. In fact there are only draw backs.
It was pure greed. Nothing more.

ipixel cannot beat samsung. it tries to be an apple with lousy specs.

they were laughing at apple for ditching the headphone jack, now they did the same, guess the joke's on them.

I hope the Galaxy S series doesn't ditch headphone jacks.

This year Huawei is doing the same. Mate 9 launched at $599 in the U.S. Mate 10 appears to be in the $750 or so range. $750 and up seem to be the new flagship starting point. Pixel 2 is at $649 starting so that's a bargain by todays standards.

Every year, Google's phone boast less features than the competition while still become more expensive. In short, Google's phones are becoming more and more like iPhones.........

joy, 18 Oct 2017water ripple effect past focus area, purple fringing, poor ... moreNearly every review has said that the colors are almost always more accurately captured than with the competition.
Compare these to the Mate 9/10, for instance.

Google's post processing is second to none, and the reviews I've read have said that the camera didn't need to increase the ISO greatly in order to get adequate exposure. The detail in these were both crisp and clean. That's not easy to pull off.
I looked at all the pictures again and didn't notice any egregious fringing. Would you pointing out where in each picture you saw this?
