HTC U11 Life hands-on review

02 November 2017
Life is short... no, we mean Life is short for Lifestyle. The HTC U11 Life certainly enjoys fine living, but it won’t make you spend your life at work. Affordability, flagship looks and respectable specs were the goals HTC set for itself when designing this phone.

Is it just in my device, or it really has 0/5 stars? Refreshed the page 5 times and the star rating is still 0/5.

Great little review! I especially appreciated the generous and well-presented camera review. It's a damn nice phone for the price.

Looks like many U.S. made phones are not carrying Snapdragon 660s. I don't know why. But this is disappointing because the 4GB RAM model is not available in the U.S. That is a dealbreaker. If the Moto G5 and G5S Plus can have that configuration, there is no excuse for the Moto X4 and this phone to have less.

A great device but the HTC 10 of last year blows it away of the competition.

Great pricing and don't mind the bezel but htc should redesign it's ugly navigation buttons!

After having quick charge with htc 10 and U11, I certainly have zero tolerance, it's a must.
You know how crucial QC is when you only have limited time to charge. It helps a LOT.

IP 67, great cameras, noise cancellation, 4k recording, fast software
it is a good value for it's price

This Edge Sense is in the same bag as 3D Touch.
With 3D Touch all what you need is software/app that would use... tap and hold. Nothing more, you would just need app that detect tap and tap and hold... But most of apps dont use it so we look at 3D touch as something amazing.
Here we have useless thing that could be replaced by simple button... If you have your phone in hand, and because most of phones have just 3 buttons(power/volume) you could use that single button without even using finger(just squeeze it with palm).

2600 mAh battery, massive bezels yet no stereo speakers, no 3.5 mm headphone jack yet only IP67...

Doesn't make a lot of "Sense".

                    The camera looks good though....

Pity there is no Snapdragon 660 and that small battery doesn't make things better. :-/
