And since it has no exposed wires. There's no change of having any fire issues compared to the wired ones which has a tendency to worn out and exposed the wires.

              I'm glad that Sony kept their square designed coz I really love them and hopefully less bezel for the upcoming Xperia s models look forward to buy xa2

                      I still don't understand why so many people hate Sony phones. There is such an easy solution to all this rumble... DON'T LIKE IT ? - DON'T BUY IT.
                      I, personally, have owned a several Sony devices over the past decade and i am satisfied.

If you place your phone BESIDE the wireless charging dock and can do charging then Kudos, but since it still need to contact to the wireless charging dock it is not no so impressive.

It only made the phone worst by charging it slowly upon reaching 80% . I knew magnetic charging since it is implemented on xperia Z1, Z2, and even Z3. But those use those two teeth from the left side of the Xperia to charge the unit. It doesn't count as wireless charging since it uses magnetic cables or magnetic dock to charge your unit. A true wireless charging doesn't have any exposed module to charge your unit. It only requires the unit to be placed on top. And the charging would start.
                              The lenovo P2 may have a facial recognition. But is it advance as the iris scanner or the Face ID? And is the unit available worldwide compared to galaxy note 8 or the iphone x?

                              That 960FPS camera. Are you sure that people all over the world use slow mo camera? NO! Most people take a lot of selfies. And even group photos. So that 960FPS. Was it commonly used by people all over the world? NO! Let me ask you die hard sony fans. Sammy had a smartphone with dual camera system. Did you sonny have it? Sammy have offered 128 to 256GB of internal storage. Did you sonny have bigger internal storage? Sammy have sinced offered VR technology and has Gear VR which now supports samsung VR and daydream VR technology. Did you sonny have it? Sammy offered a flagship smartphone like the note 8 which has bigger battery life of 3,600mah. And even with that battery size. It charges quickly. Does sonny offered a bigger battery life before and can be charge quickly in under 2 hours? Sammy offered a true wireless charging technology. Which doesn't have any exposed circuitry. Does sonny offered a true wireless charging tech? Sammy offered a unit with iris scanner. Does sonny have it? Sammy offered a smartphone that comes with a free Gear VR. What does sonny offered as a bundle to their product? Sammy designed and perfected the edge display system with a menu. Does sonny have it? Sammy third party accessory providers now offered powercase. Does sonny have it?

                              I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to smartphones. So YOU should do your research first! Cause from those categories that sammy has. YOU only humiliate yourself, SONNY!

Which can be used by a magnetic charging cable or a magnetic charging dock. I know that component since it exist on xperia Z1, Z2, and even Z3 lineup. It only counts as a docking charge. Not a wireless charging. Since it has two charging pins on the left side of the unit.

                                You think that charging overnight would be a good idea? Not everyone in the world would charge their phone overnight because of fire safety. Which is why they literally used a 2.4A wall adaptor to charge their unit. For me. I used a 3.5A charging station which charges all of my device in less than an hour. I know the risk of battery explosion so I know the limits of every phone. QNOVO charging parameter shouldn't be included on all xperia devices especially for the fact that upon usage. It doesn't last a whole day on intense usage. Tell me. When you are playing online mobile games while the LTE is on. How long does the unit last?
                                "Id call that indeed "uneccessary", or "gimmick", or wthever...." If your hands are wet. Especially if you are on an area where there's a lot of moist. Does the FP scanner work? NO! Meanwhile, the face ID and iris scanner allows you to unlock your phone. And tell me. Once the Fingerprint scanner is damage. Can it be replaced easily? NO.
                                "But you dont seem impressed about same depth sensor tech on Xperia doing 3D scanning on back camera, right?" Was that a hit? NO. More and more people take a lot of photos while using the front facing camera all the time. Have you seen other phones utilize depth camera? NO.
                                "Daydream is a VR suite, an app, nothing to do with extra tech on phones". LOL! Have you compared the ordinary VR apps from daydream APPS? Just because every high end smartphones have VR capabilities doesn't mean the quality is perfect. Almost all excellent or good quality VR apps are exclusively on a daydream device. Have you seen an excellent or even good quality VR apps released for ALL smartphones brands anywhere in the world?

                                  Magnetic charging port.
                                  To keep you from using usb daily which would make flap weak.

                                  Few phones with android 4.0, 4.2 and 4.3 had face unlock. I had xperia C, it has face unlock but I never tested because front cam is 0.3MP.

                                    If you check Sony website, it says XA2 and XA2U have metal body, not plastic
