I have come to this phone from LG G4 which has consumed my three batteries with its hotfire SD 808. This phone is super snappy with all the great features (using 6gb varient). I have installed Nova launcher prime and now it feels like using a premium device due to its hardware and built quality along with Nova interface. Other manufacturers could have easily charged $200 more for RN5 pro like device.

This is on of the best phone for the price range , to attest to this person are comparing this to some of the worlds top brands which cost nearly double the cost of this device.

Camera, i would say LG G4 still have far better Image Quality and features (RAW shot, faster lens ) than Redmi Series, and still better than my Mi5.. (i dont know about mi6. They cut cost on sensor and lens)
If you want to change to redmi series, never give high hope on camera, this is budget series, but with best price to performance ratio

My Honest Review. Phone's specifications does not match with the user expectations. Camera quality is not up to the mark. Processing speed is slower than a quad core processor. Wi fi range is lesser than other devices with lesser price tag eg Micromax. Bty capacity is just about a day with wi fi on, much lesser than a 3000mAh bty of lenovo phone.
Pls don't be in a rush to buy this phone just because of star ratings created by marketing agents. Use reviews of some one who has purchased and used it. I have purchased one.

This redmi note 5 Pro had ddr4 ram which is a sign of high quality hardware. It's running a fast and robust snapdragon 636 cpu. 4gb ram and a big 4000mah battery. How about researching this before you spout nonsense. If this was the apple redmi note 5 Pro, it would be on the market for 500 or 600 with the hardware it's using. It's far from perfect but pro rata, it gives far better value for money than the iPhone x. The iPhone x is nearly 5 times more expensive. It's possibly not even twice as good a phone. You don't know what you're talking about.

It is indeed a very good phone but there are many system errors.....there are continuous system updates coming up but still there are many errors.I bought the phone 2weeks back and already got 2updates but the auto rotate is yet not working properly.
Otherwise it's a really good phone for this price 🤗🤗🤗

Totally strange that they ditched 4k video recording despite the much more capable chipset. I hope it will become available upon a further update.

It has a great design, a beautiful display, amazing performance and some solid features. It's hard to beat the Redmi Note 5 Pro at this price range.
