3D Memorys, 16 Mar 2018It doesn't write that, it only write down 'should not' use ... moreFor god damn, fanboy, it doesn't have IP68 certification. It's only certified against IP65. It's tested against IP68, but using under conditions above IP65 and without protection voids your warranty.
It is exactly what specification disclaimer says. It's a copypaste from specifications.

I think if you really want to immerse the waterproof phone into the pool for a long time and using camera under water use a premium transparent waterproof smartphone case is better from my advise and you still get more protection because the IP65/IP68 certification, be a wise user don't exceed the limits.
In daily real life usage it is also hassle free without fear any water and dust because it is the highest rating with both IP65 and IP68 certification. Note that the competitors only get IP68 certification but XZ2 get both IP65 and IP68 certification which much better in both waterproof and quality assurance.

3D Memorys, 16 Mar 2018See the Pocketlit how to describe the IP65 with IP68 at the... moreJust open XZ2 specification page on Sony site. It has enough clarification.
Xperia XZ2 Compact is water resistant (5) and protected against dust (6), so don't worry if you get caught in the rain or want to wash off dirt under the faucet water, but remember all ports and attached covers should be firmly closed. You should not put the device completely underwater; or expose it to seawater, salt water, chlorinated water, or liquids such as drinks. Abuse and improper use of device will invalidate warranty.
====================================
The same way as it was with Z1. It's IP65. It's tested against IP68 for case of emergency and only in given coditions, but putting it into water will invalidate the warranty.

3D Memorys, 14 Mar 2018I hope you can say so on Samsung Note 7 threads! Abe there you go again acting like a child. Instead of a mature it intellectual reply to very real facts you just deflect with attacking something else because your favorite brand was in question.
Note 7... yeah that sucked. At least it wad ony one model. And it's not like every other brand including Sony hasn't had explosions before.
And with that route again.... since it wad only one phone model and with only a couple incidents.. the worst being a hot a car..
Let's talk again almost every model from at least z to at least z5 and most everything in between suffering from all of a sudden dying. And the user being left helpless to figure it the severity of the situation without lots of time and stress. And to be left in the dust by customer support.
And the issue is only hopefully gone. Not even for sure yet.

The... moreOf course. You will say anything to degrade Samsung because you are threatened by them. It's clear that preferences aside that the galaxy is more technically advanced device. And it usually is. And this upsets all of you every time.
Instead of acting like children about though why not be mature, realistic, and factual? And deal with it like an adult?
And if you want to be mad as someone why not be mad at Sony for holding back themselves so much. I am. I want to see a real Sony flagship. It's not fair that people in the company are incompetent to run it and are killing therm and wet get something like xz2 when we could be getting a beast that could be bringing them to the top.

regs, 14 Mar 2018Assured protection is only IP65. IP68 is only in conditions... more2400 would definitely be a noticeable difference from 2800mah.
And they are correct. It would be hard to such a battery capacity in such a phone. Especially if that was a less bezel device, only 127mm tall, and you want it to be 7.2 or .5mm thick.
It would need to be 8 or 9mm thick, but honestly that wouldn't be bad.

You can fit far more. But even 2400 mAh would be fine. Not a big difference from 2800. But at least it will not be that fat, so will be usable and comfortable in hand.
Didn't say it doesn't have NFC and SD. I said they should be in that hypothetical device expecting here by majority.
