no offense but DxOMark is corrupted, pay more to get more points, Even Oneplus 5T or Xiaomi Mi or VIVO could be in the first place if they pay enough.
BUT you're right about Pixel 2, i own a Pixel 2 XL (if you Forget the horrible Display of Pixel 2 XL) it is an awesome phone with best camera between all phones.

My opinion is no need to compare, just good on their mind is enough. No one is perfect. Just keep the greatest on its-self, Nowadays, technology is the higher the of the higher.

All I can say is that, the photo quality of my S9+ is nothing short of stellar. Unwanted artifacts are so hard to find. Details are abundant without over sharpening. This is one of rhe best smartphone cameras to date!

both are great. it doesnt make difference when your post pic on social media , they get cropped etc. also ppl have different phones, so it will look different for every person. why do you even care ...get a life

s9 better camera for sure, but the oversaturated colours are still cartoonish, a more accurate colour profile and let users tweak it on their favourite apps after would be better.

This year samsung surpassed apple at all ( speed test and photo/video)

I am into my 6-month old Note 8 and also using Mate 10 pro as a secondary driver by taking out iph X! (can't bear the notch and sucky battery life/taking way longer charging time)
You can believe whatever you want to,bruh! enough is enough
P.S- How dumb can you be to search something in camera settings to take 1 min? no wonder you are praising Apple/iPhone! just saying! lol

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2018Samsung is on the top!!!so what - it lags .. thats matter. I have note 8 , I know this.

Can you do a hardware analysis by shooting RAW?

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2018both is nice - but ios got smoother interface on the other ... moreHope you know well that people can bear 0.01 sec difference when S9+ can produce way lesser noises, way more detailed and more color-balanced photos! because nobody cares much about comparing the opening time unless if there's a huge time difference! bruh, no idea what has got into your head

Once you reach the flagship price phones, camera quality is almost the same, and finding the differences in pictures is almost being nitpicky. The average user won't give a f#$k anyway whether their phones scored 100 or 98 in DxOmark and such as long as their photos and video have good enough quality to post in social media like Instagram and Facebook. These scores are pretty much just for bragging rights and marketing purposes. The average user probably won't notice the difference if they're not nitpicking.

s9 low light pics look like water paintings. Samsung should include an option for level of noise reduction.
