I'm not a huge fan of notches either... but as long as phone makers make rounded corner displays, they might as well have notches, as the usable area of the sides of the notch isn't fully usable anyway.
They might as well but one at the bottom as well, and put the fingerprint-reader/"home" button in there... unfortunately Android P comes with swipe gestures so the physical "home" button is probably going away... sure there are fingerprint-readers with gesture support, but long swipes would not work... on the other hand, it would offer better tactile feedback, if the long swipe commands were triggered when the finger moves from the sensor to the surrounding area, that is display or at least capacitive sensitive.
I want the center portion to be 16:9, without any curves or bends, with 1080p or rather 2160p resolution, then it could extend to areas with notches, curves and bends that could then be function areas (perhaps with support for some kind of ambient effect, that sorts of extends the images of the center area, but leaving it intact, kinda like the blurry extension of portrait videos).

this is the only honor and huhawei that looks good, honor and huhawei are bad company. just beacuse a company is bad we cant say all the phones that makes are bad too, even dc made wonder women lolz

The biggest downfall with Huawei/Honor phones is that the manufacturer doesn't update them. I have a Honor 8 PRO that is only 12 months old and is stuck with Android v7.0 and a security level dated 5th July 2017 with no sign of any update.

Nice review! That AI tricks is actually good, but sometimes it blows up the details. This is a great contender for the OnePlus 6!

I dont find the P20s and the Honor 10 gorgeous at all. I wished they would have just improve the design from the P10s or the Mate 10s cause they have some of the most beautiful designs I've seen.

Not sure I'm convinced by that AI stuff. On one hand, seems to bring more contrast and dynamic range, on the other, seems to oversharpen a bit and saturate colours way too much. Looks to me like a sort of super HDR vivid mode. Setting up the AI at about 50% of what it is should be great!

Huawei/Honor cameras used to be great but lately i find them to be terribly over processed and dreadful
