Sony Xperia XZ3 review

Few phones can claim they caused quite as big of a stir as the Xperia XZ3. After Sony dropped its first curved OLED Xperia, seemingly out of the blue at IFA 2018, reactions have ranged from overwhelming excitement, through confusion and all the way to denial and anger. That's a level of drama typically reserved for soap operas or celebrity gossip and it all spells out one thing - a massive wave of exposure for Sony.

[deleted post]On every single Sony related article, page, video etc etc. So sad. As bad or worse than apple ones sometimes.

What's really sad is Sony has and has had the potential to be that good. Sadly their CEO's, head of divisions, decision makers etc whoever... make poor choice after another and hold them down.
They could be making phones that are amazing and class leading rather than just good and taking the market by storm

And it's also brighter overall display with better hdr support. As well as better color accuracy, and even still sunlight legibility.
    And you even keep claiming it's rgb when no sources support this.

          Like you said even when it's not supported by factual and objective points.
          But as far as personal preference goes someone could prefer some dinosaur 20 or 30 year old phone and feel it's better for them.

Apple, Samsung and occasionally Pixel, but Apple and Samsung rule here. Most people don't even know that Sony makes phones, they are non existant. However play stations are a thing though.

                                  The design looks like samsung galaxy. And also htc u11 from the back. But too bad.. the oled is made by Lg. I hope it wont have the same problems as google's pixel phone.

                                      kakouille, 16 Sep 2018I do it all the time, lol Samsung HDR is 10 bit, ask googl... moreI just cross-checked and you are right, Samsung has been implementing HDR 10 in their displays since the ill-fated Note 7 that was way back in 2016 damn! in Sony mobile world HDR was totally unheard of back then and we had screens with poor inaccurate colors, check out Xperia XZ review which says:
                                      "Color reproduction is not great, though. The average DeltaE of 5.8 is decent, but there is a pronounced blue cast to white and gray. Other than that, out of the primaries, green is off the most (DeltaE around 10), and cyan is far from the truth as well."

                                      Although I used to like the old Sony design, at least it was unique and not cloned.
