The QSD 710 is better, and these are narrowly better than the QSD 660, 670, and 636 in that order. Yet, they still struggle to defeat the old QSD 820/821, let alone something better like the Kirin 960 or Exynos 8890.
The silver-lining is that at least these are better than the old QSD 800/801/805/808/810, Exynos 5433, Exynos 7420, and Kirin 950/955.
I've seen Modded S7-Exynos devices running faster than a Stock LG G7....so remember hardware is only one portion of the equation.

In my location, Pocophone price is 50% more than 8x, how they both are even comparable? 8x is more bang for the buck. However you seem to be a bit biased in favor of Poco and can't see anything beyond that phone, I understand your mistake.

Poco and this have different clients. 8X has a slightly better display and there's decent space around the notch for some notification (battery percentage is essential). Also, Poco has larger bezels. Poco is performance oriented, 8X is more refined. The 8X, despite being larger, is lighter and thinner than the smaller Poco. For those who don't game, the 8X's design is at an advantage, though both have some flaws. 8X's camera sensor from Mate 20 lite is a fail, usb type C missing, 5GHz wifi band missing (according to some), the battery a bit small (compared to Y9 with the same display). Poco has too large of a notch with no space for notifications, a more bleedy display, larger bezels and big chin, heavier, thicker. I also consider the EMUI better than the MIUI.
That being said, I'd take any of these to over any iPhone, Pixel or Razer.

Your facts is wrong. Honor 8x starting price $200 while Poco F1 $300, yes Poco F1 better, but $100 different are not a 'few bucks more'.

Whoa whoa, what?? Kirin 960 launched in 2016 and this is even slower than that??? WOW. Ofcourse there's the already old kirin 970 too and now the kirin 980.
This just goes to shot how useless buying mid range phones is. Way better off buying a year or two old flagship instead.

Uhm.......... Guys. I might be mistaken but 2+2=4 and not 8 right? the CPU is Octa core however the sum up says 2x of the cores of each type. ^^;

For the actual users, it does not really matter whether Huawei or Honor has tons of mid range phones of around the same specs. Your review overly criticizes this phone on that fact as it must be frustrating for you to review similar phones all the time.
But kindly think from user's point of view. Most of them would just own one phone for 1-2 years, they would want to know, is Honor 8x better value at its price point than all other phones by Huawei and others in market including Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Samsung etc?
My personal opinion is that this phone really is the best at the price it is being offered. No other phone is that inexpensive, for the value 8x is providing namely: 6.5 inch great looking screen, nice looking handset, big battery, pretty good processor, and above all 128 GB of storage! I got this phone at USD 240 and it is really a bargain.
