Huawei s cameras better than pixel3

Mate 20 Pro: For every Huawei fan who can pay a premium price. It is the best of Huawei at the moment.

Mate 20 RS Porsche Design: For a limited elite audience. It isn't really any better than Mate 20 Pro other than being Porsche branded & having a leather back.

Mate 20 X: For gamers or heavy multi-media users. That huge screen along with stereo speakers & huge battery is sure to please these audiences.

Mate 20: For Huawei fans who have a smaller budget. I would personally advise you to go for P20 Pro instead of this. You'll probably save some money and get a better phone aside from a weaker SoC, but you won't notice that much in real-life usage.

AnonD-632062, 17 Oct 2018Check this out. Samsung designed hybrid slot that can take ... moreYeah those hybrid setup from Samsung is great, especially most of us use SD card.

But Huawei dont want to compromise the overall performance of the phone if some people use lower class sd card. Yes, THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE USE CLASS 2/4 SD card.

And yes, even the Nano card distribute by Toshiba, Huawei definitely handsomely paid by them.

New Iphone is better, dont buy this brand!
Check Benchmarks. IPHONE XS wiped the floor with the new Kirin 980 :D

Darko, 17 Oct 2018The first Camera samples of Mate 20 series is disappointing... moreMore detail in Pixel 3 pics? Are we watching same photos? On second set for example, can you read writing on building left from bridge or whatever it is on Pixel photo? I can't. But on Mate photo it's pretty much readable. I would continue but my words probably won't open your eyes. Pixel seems to render leaves better though. When it comes to colours; Pixel photo is clearly oversaturated while Mate sticks close to real colours. As i have repeatedly said, Pixel camera is way overrated, it isn't even the best 12 mp camera on phones (12 mp with tiny sensor is joke anyway). That would be U 12/U 12+. And newer Sony cameras just blow Pixel away. I want some detail in my photos and don't mind minor noise.
Before you accuse me being biased, i am usually using Nokia 808 for mobile photography (sometimes Lumia 950XL).

Shui8, 17 Oct 2018About the Nano card, read my post about it earlier.Check this out. Samsung designed hybrid slot that can take both UFS cards in the shape of a microSD card slot.

The NM card is just more planned obsolescence from Huawei. They could have made it in similar dimensions to the microSD card, but no, they had to force their decisions on the customer. Disgusting tactic.

Did they remove OIS from the main 40 MP camera in the Mate 20 Pro?

That would be a downgrade, because the P20 Pro had OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) in it's main 40 MP camera.

The Triple Camera of the Mate 20 Pro looks awesome. Even better than the Pixel 3.
It could easily be the best smartphone camera of the year.

Great innovation from Huawei. Shots Fired.

M-Pen seems pretty good. Thank goodness it is not a LG-type simple, passive stylus. However, I wonder whether it is a WACOM pen like the S-Pen.

Also, not having it in a slot, despite being much bigger than the Note9 and having to buy it separately, is a huge drawback, and that already makes it no match to the already more versatile S-Pen.

The Huge OLED screen is awesome. But Huawei really missed a golden chance to make a perfect rectangular screen by including a small but still intrusive notch that disrupts the full-screen effect. Plus, 1080p+ resolution on a 7.2" display means 345 ppi, a far cry from the pin sharp 518 ppi from the Note9's QHD+ display.

The additional of a 3.5 mm headphone jack over the Pro model is awesome, especially when you consider this is much cheaper too.

5000 mAh battery is superb. The triple camera combination seems great.

The less said about the Mate 20 Porsche Design, the better.

The NM card is just more planned obsolescence from Huawei. They could have made it in similar dimensions to the microSD card, but no, they had to force their decisions on the customer. Disgusting tactic.

The Kirin 980 while very powerful is a joke, compared to what Huawei was teasing and boasting.

Forget the Apple A12. Forget the SD 855 or the Exynos 9820, about to be released soon. It is only slight ahead of the SD 845 and can barely compare against the Note9 in some benchmarks.

This was such false marketing from Huawei. "Faster than A12 Bionic", they said.

The only noteworthy device is Mate 20X. There's nothing that LG V40 can't do, that Mate 20 Pro can do. Also, LG V40 is lot cheaper & lighter too. The main problem with LG is their marketing sucks & they are never serious about promoting their devices like Huawei, Apple & Samsung do.
