Apple iPhone XR review

Now updated with full test findings. The iPhone XR is the third iPhone to be launched this year, after the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max. While the two iPhone XS models are nearly identical save for the size, the iPhone XR is a significant departure for the iPhone X series and possibly a new chapter going forward.

        Does telephone handset send textualized message? im not seeing letter buttons. maybe just for calls?

                Do you think the latest P20, S9, Pixel 3, G7, XZ3 ... are any more revolutionary compared to their previous iteration ?
                That's just how things are done these days. What else did you want to see ?
                Imo, a slightly higher resolution would have been nice to have.
                But this phone already feels much more like an upgrade from the 8 than the 8 from the 7.

                    Yikes... remember that whatever price you see in the store, will be about $150 more after all the cables and adapters you will need.

                    Is it worth it to just to be closed into Apple's walled garden? Clearly not.

                      Dominique, 24 Oct 2018Sorry but I would rather buy Huawei than Samsung phones. -,-Between Samsung and Huawei, I'd buy a Huawei phone too. But considering there are other OEMs that use Android and Snapdragon SoCs, you have plenty of choices other than Samsung, and LG. Personally, I'd prefer Sony were it not for their poor customer service in many countries, or Google Pixel had they been officially made available.

                                XR = Xtra Rubbish
                                XS = Xtra Stone Age (technology)
                                XS Max = Xtra Stone Age, Maximum profit (for Apple)
                                X = Xtra Xcruciating Xperience (compared to android)

                                      Seems like what you pay for iphone in the end is way more in the end.

                                        TL:DR - the iPhone XR is just an upgraded iPhone 8 with a slightly bigger screen, 1 GB more of RAM and slightly faster new SoC.
