BUT the ... moreReality is you never bought this phone wanted to buy buy this but for whatever reason owns a xiaomi device so now doing such things to comfort your soul that you owns s better device but in actually you want to buy Honor 8x and stopping your self by giving this fake satisfaction to yourself, otherwise who just come to a comment section of a review to just to tell that he own a redmi and it's screen quality is better then Honor 8x.
I personally owns both devices and redmi note5 screen is very average with respect to this, specifically greens are way too bad on redmi like paled green and same goes for reds.

A good example on aperture is Google Pixel 1 vs iPhone 7. Google pixel took much better photos with an f/2.0 aperture in both daylight and lowlight situations compared to iPhone 7 which has a wider f/1.8 aperture. An example on number of pixels is HTC One M9 with 20MP, f/2.2 vs iPhone 6 with 8MP, f/2.2. The iPhone 6 still took better photos with its low megapixel-Sony sensor compared to HTC One M9's 20MP by a Toshiba sensor. See?

Hey guys, what is a better option to buy? Honor 8x or Mi Mix 2S. Currently where I live I can buy Mix 2s for about 25% more. Is it worth paying that extra cash for that one? With 8X I like more the design on the other hand MIX 2S has much better camera, image stabilization, more powerful hardware, USB-C, fast charging and even wireless charging. Plus there is more chance of getting updates, I am afraid that honor 8x may not get the Android Pie so I would end up with a brand new device but already outdated. I would like to keep the device for maybe two years.

Kirin 710 is 12nm but heats up pretty quickly and in long hours of usage would mean throttling and battery drain. One can simulate long term usage by testing the phone by testing it to the maximum. it just heats up too quickly.

Never rely on numbers only because what matters the most is the durability of the phone after long period of time if the performance is still as good as new.

I tested an sd660-powered device using mi 8 lite and the antutu score is always in the high 144k. i tested 5x with lot of running apps in background. why is it that the same powered unit scores only 137k? also in pubg theres a lot of stutters and heating when using the 8x with settings in high realistic and anti aliasing while the mi 8 lite doesnt.

BUT the ... moreLol I have just the same phone in my hands now, brought it of amazon for 14,999 Rupees, I would say the screen is very bright, it's actually so bright, I could not see it directly and in a dark room it's actually blinding, but the screen is bit reflective so it might be dull outdoors but it's still legible, plus it's super smooth phone(installed nova launcher). Don't know why people just review things as if they already used it. Lol this why I read only certified buyer's reviews before buying from flipkart or amazon.

Why honor doesn't honor 8x water drop notch and 5000mah battery is sucks the phone and the display ppi 396 its average colour reproduction at least give honor 9x with 6.5 inches water drop notch display with 456 ppi and 5000mah battery

Cameras with bigger aperture captures more better pictures even if the megapixels are low while cameras with smaller aperture captures more bad quality pictures even if the megapixels are high

Just bought honor 8x for my wife... PERFECT Phone. BUT the display is DULLER than my old Mi Max2 & my Redmi5Plus.
The display's color is more like a cheap phone, even my cheap Redmi5Plus has much bright & greater color.
Dont buy this phone if u expect GOOD SCREEN QUALITY.
