Realme U1 review

28 November 2018
The Realme U1 has just launched in India, hot on the Realme 2 Pro heels, and promises better selfies and even faster performance. The salient design is here to stay, as is the large screen with a dewdrop notch.

Why plastic is cons. Nevertheless, most of the people after buying a new glass phone immediately cover it in an ugly plastic cover. I very rarely see people with $1000 phones without ugly plastic covers, thus why it matter if it's a plastic phone. In my opinion, plastic phones are more durable, less slippery, more flexible (with removable covers and changeable batteries). I miss my S5...

except the charge port. there's no complaints at all. perfect device

Guys, discussing the HDR photo quality, you left out a big flaw unnoticed, see what it did with the surface of the banners and the the mall's logo "joy station" - not just a minor lack of detail or higher noise, it spoiled the images substantially, just zoom in.

At least for now. Even some US consumers like Huawei phones because they're bored on Samsung and Apple phones in the first place.

Oh well, time will tell who will win this freaking war.

I wonder why GSM Arena doesn't mention things like Call quality, GPS quality, internet connectivity (wifi and cellular, LTE Carrier aggregation), Security updates by the manufacturer etc. in their tests. After all these are some of the most important features of a smartphone rather than mainly concentrating on the cameras

What's more is the fact that Huawei isn't showing proof that they haven't been doing anything shifty either, so I don't know who to believe
