And for this flagship, the maker has ditched the motorized popups and instead has solved the notch issue in a different way - with a full-fledged AMOLED screen at the back.

      By having a second screen you can take selfies from the back of the phone, leaving the entire front free of notches or holes for selfie cameras. the entire front of the phone is a screen.

                  Wow, incredible design. I really like it.
                  I'm concerned for the battery, but I think it's a great concept.

                    I can't understand why so much hate for dual screens. Earlier or now it's dual glass phone and now with dual display it's same gorilla glass on back and front. So what's the point of criticising it as fragile than other glass phones ?
                    Only bummer i see is SD 845 in 2019 by the time it reaches in market and for premium price i don't think it was a good idea with sd845... Sd855 should have been there.
                    And people who take less selfies can use back covered cases too

                            Not cheap exactly... 700€ in China... so 900-950€ in europe?
                            But good to see alternative solutions!

                              But it's impossible for such a phone to embed an NFC chip, is it?

So funny that whenever someone innovates ... moreall of this could be solved by just not following stupid trend of Full Screen less bezell design. it's impractical for one handed use, and always make you do unintentional touch to the screen.

                                        For added protection, one can use a bumper case - that only goes arond the edge of the phone and doesn't cover any of the screens that are already protected by the tempered glass screen protectors.
